Have used both:
Lenovo is the re brand name for IBM and generally well built,
Asus have made a couple of good high end lap tops but generally they are a budget build.
Personally I would ask for a model with the downgrade to win7 as any version of win8 is shocking especially for business use (windows 10 is on the way next year to fix the issues with 8).

Right throw or screen size will be 2Mtr x 2Mtr max. Distance from the screen will only be circa 2.5 mtr to 3mtrs and portable would be good(6mtrs max was a bad guess).

Ordered BT Infinity about six weeks ago, phoned them on Tues eve to see what was happening as id heard nothing. Unfortunately it was after 8pm so only limited staff on and they promised to get me a call back to sort on Thurs at 6:30pm. I called them tonight to ask why they hadn’t called me back. Their answer was that because I had moved recently it was with their credit control…..Aghhh why couldn’t they have that on the initial form stage how long at current address and previous address. Told them to stick it and back to sky whom had a totally different attitude as soon as they picked the phone up.

Chinese have it sussed, they use whichever lane is most convenient.

Pictures work better than numbers. For instance if you have a number sequence – 5837 you make the numbers pictures in your head like instead of five you think of a “bee hive” instead of eight you think of a “gate” instead of three you think of a “tree” and seven would be “heaven”.
o your number is beehive, gate, tree, heaven. You have to picture it and it become easy to remember 🙂

Not a specialist job if you have the rivnut gun to fit your rivnuts with?
No need to strip the frame the rivnut will still tighten up. Hole size is key though dont go too big or the rivnuts will spin and drilling them out is a pain (as they spin).

Unless its a real top spec xp machine personally I wouldnt bother wasting your time. I guessing its a 32 bit machine so the max ram it can access it 3.2gb which is the bare min for win 7.
Put the £150 oward a new pc just my opinion but I have been down this road more than once.

Understand your concerns but you cant condone striking we are all under stress at work. The more you care the more you have to stress about. Dont we all want higly cherished and well payed jobs but we dont all go on strike.
