Either get a used windows 7 lappy (don’t know an IT support company that recommend using win 8) or wait till the end of the year when we will hopefully see windows 10.
    Win 8 is a dog!

Don’t mind paying handling charge, import duty but not happy paying vat on top of a price that already had vat. The gbp prices include vat I am adamant ive paid the price with vat and had to pay vat again (& on the shipping too).
Anyway the point is id like to warn others about the way Hobbyking do business.

1st thought – as a 17yr old WOW deffo would have taken it
2nd thought – a 17yr old doesn’t think like that, its one hell of a commitment
3rd thought – if we all thought as wisely as we do now at 17 we’d probably be aiming a lot higher?

I know you said no Dre,s but don’t discount them just for image.

Had the 2.2 180bhp sport 2010 from new for 3 years and enjoyed it, high spec car for the cash. Not as quick as id hoped though and only got an average of 37mpg but that’s good the way I drive!
The new ones have been re styled and look awesome.

If you are to be disciplined they should have got you to sign a AUP (acceptable usage policy) or similar.
    Good lesson learnt though ehh?

So the goods were more expensive in the US?

Correct lemonysam – their support chat are now saying this is due to additional administration

    joepose

No, I was directed to the us site as they had no stock in the uk.
Either way they are making more money by selling in this way and customers are losing out.

Same purchase price via their us site as the uk site which includes the tax already I paid £79.85 in gbp which from the uk site included the tax?

    joepose

Still makes no sense to me. Seems like I have paid at UK price (including tax) and have to pay the tax again.

    joepose

if it didn’t include tax it should have been at a lower price shouldn’t it?

model wasn’t available through the uk stock so I was given the option of the usa site but why would the price be the same as the uk price includes 20% vat?

    Ice, ice and more ice.
you don’t need much tonic. Tall slim glass full of ice, pour gin over the ice and fill the rest with tonic.
Has to be the most refreshing drink on the planet if done properly?

Agree with the plaster over it but you don’t need plasterboard.
    Just plaster straight over.
Knock a hole in the bottom and put in a wood burner or even a nice gas stove.
    Good luck.

Gently drop it a few times then ask him to return it under warranty as it appears to be broken?

    joepose

Cant think of a better time to go.
Like others have said you can get the whole 4 seasons in a day so there’s never any guarantees but deffo no midges and all of the beasties will come down from the mountains so should be in plain sight.
Again John o’groats wouldn’t bother. West coast is a must and I suggest heading for Loch Torridon. But also don’t miss out on the Balmoral area & Braemar through the stunning Cairngorms.
If you can Glen Affric would be a real highlight too.

Yeah I would go with nothing on it too.
Anodising is a process that brings forward the oxidisation of aluminium so after a time you will get a nice matt silver finish.
Known in the aluminium business as natural anodising.

That’s my tracking number the service centre had my parcel on 19th November, still not bad at just over a month. They told me on the phone they would prioritise and I would get it on Monday….. didn’t check which Monday so my mistake I guess.

In my experience paypal will side with the buyer and you will get your money back no problem.
The details tend to be irrelevant, if you are a buyer, have used paypal and are not happy with the deal your fine.
As a buyer this has been great in the past – as a seller it was a pain in the butt even when the byer was clearly in the wrong.

cars are not too powerful, they have always had the ability to maim or kill. they are safer and we are safer and quicker.

Speed limits are way out of date.
Nobody does 70 on the motorway anymore, cars just stop and go so much better than they used to. Cars are more powerful but they stop and handle way better too even tyres have moved on – just the drivers that haven’t moved on. At least some of them.

So, so you think you can tell
    Heaven from hell?
    Blue skies from pain?
Can you tell a green field
    From a cold steel rail?
    A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?
