    I run a 1x 9 with 32t on the front.

I manage but by the end of the day it would be nice to have a more spinny rear cog. Just waiting for my x9 to wear out

Not sure why duggan is being compared to De Menzies or Tomlinson…?

The latter two were victims leading normal lives whereas duggan was a known criminal who carried a gun.

If the police had not shot him, some one else would have or he would be in prison. Cant see the tragedy over this one.

And the family claiming he was a nice guy? come on. If that is normal for people to be in gangs and behaving the way he did then thats the bit I’m worried about

Walking bottom car park will be fine as it’s probably not great weather.

Suggest you look on strava. All the trails are on there so you can piece together a route.

    Nah, just ride my MTB!
roads are designed for things that go faster than push bikes. So they will be boring to ride at 20mph.

Problem is it looks fun watching the tour. a lot think it’ll be like that. They’ll get bored.

Reality is its **** boring yet youre risking youre life worse than MTB and a lot of things more fun.

The whole danger vs fun is way skewed towards danger.

I despair when I see most things encouraging cycling are road bike related.

6″ travel bikes are best there.

If you only want to ride one black then take the bigger but it will by overkill and ruin the reds and blues.

Why did you not see that crack? It would have been visible through the paint at that size.

How did you remove the bb?

If there are large puddles try and avoid walking near them.

I’ve done it. Two very drunk people and one big puddle. Couldn’t resist. :|

XC it was never much bother.

DH and enduro is/was a problem If i got seeded badly. If you’ve been caught get out the f’ing way. You arent going to win so don’t screw up the persons behind chances of a decent result. Dont look for somewhere suitable, just get off the track.

You’ve answered your own question. If its a second job I’m not surprised. While the idea of extra money may be good the extra hassle involved when fitting it around your day job, family commitments may prove too much for them.

Or maybe what you’re asking to be done is really boring. Pay isn’t everything…

I personally don’t want to work more than 5 days for the majority. Don’t have enough free time…

If you arent fussed on finish, spray painting is a lot of faff.

Rustoleum or even 2pack rollered on would do. Just prep it, be careful not to go to bare metal. if you do go through i wouldnt bother with etch as it’ll do more harm then good as it’ll get under the surrounding paint.

The dragon track has been revamped to be fair with loads more hucks. Although the other black seems harder with steeper stuff and some hucks

The old gethin dh track was never hard, it was just physical. Even the rock garden had a straight line in it.

What’s the point in paying it back quickly though?

    joefm

I just pay it back under paye. Under £10k but at 1% its not worth paying over that!!

Better off putting the money in a savings account…. Even a shit one at 2%

There is sometime a desire to try and de-stress an applicant by informal questions, role play etc. But interviewees often find it stressful and quite the opposite happens.

But the opportunity for some hilarious answers there!

Get rid while its still worth a bit and get an MTB.

It sounds like you had your heart set on one and ended up with the wrong bike. Don’t waste time riding something you hate.

Mtb’ing is more fun. Fact. Why ride if you’re not? Unless someone can explain how riding at 20mph is fun sharing space with cars? Considering if you rode a motorbike at that speed you would be going super slow….

I waste enough time on the road and I hate it. Every bloody pedal stroke. (Commute)

    Illegal = no regulation.

How many deaths are related to bad pills? I’m sure there’s logic in thinking that if the safer drugs are more available there would be less nasty stuff like crack and heroin. Not to mention an associated drop in crime/dealers

I don’t take drugs. But don’t care if people do (recreational only)

As for pot. No worse than alcohol

Agree. A272 is one of my favourites to drive. Wide and fast. Horrible on a bike

Can route around the meon valley easily on nice roads.

I can’t. Lords wood has no elevation.

And keep it afloat?. It’s been there 20 years… It may be nearest for me but I mostly travel elsewhere.

If you’re expecting llandegla you’ll only be disappointed. But as a 40 minute loop its ok.

I often think I would have been better off having done something work/learn based like accountancy. Boring

Would i change things if i could? Yes. I would pick my course a lot better. Something more vocational and linked to careers… And probably waited a few years as at 18 I wasn’t ready.

I do like having my degree. It feels like an achievement .

In conclusion I would still do a degree.

Don’t hire a dh bike. The place is best on a 5/6″ travel trail bike…

Too slow in the wet. Clay bog.

Get strava. Look it up as everything is on there. Surrey hills included. Stay on the holmbury side though.

If I had the day off I would go to sh or even Wales! But I know my way round

Qe for me. The loop is shorter and there is more climbing but its technically more challenging.
There is also other stuff to ride around the back. Can’t explain how to find it…

But swinleys route is longer and is fun.

Problem is the west missed the opportunity to support the rebels. Now there are a lot of extremists within the rebels making them no better than Assad. Capable of their own atrocities.

**** knows what is really going on except loads of civilians are dying.

Damned if you do, damned if you don’t.

Riding road bikes for ‘fun’? I say fun, but no roadie I see smiles. It’s the sense of achievement apparently… I can do that but enjoy it at same time.

I do some road miles but its either socialising with work roadies or fitness. Not for fun.

There is zig zag which is easier…. It’s a mellow fire road. You can pick it up from the end of the trails under zorre in the direction away from avoriaz, where you see huts near the start of the chair, they sit on that fire road. It also passes right round the back of the super m top lift station but you have to pedal up for 2 mins

You won’t be riding up n a dh bike! It’s not a gentle climb at all. Don’t need a dh bike except for one of the blacks and bits of that would be hard work on a dh bike. Not much left of the old dragon track either.

Good day on Saturday…. Did five runs and was prett knackered. Could have done another maybe. Hopefully they bring in a trail centre style loop as its all quite straight up and down so you get bored of the same up. Think ill try and book an uplift as it is such a gravity based spot.

Think my favourite was the furthest on the left red. Good mix of single track and steep stuff

    Well done to the team.
