I’m not religious in the sense that I follow a certain religion. But something somewhere sparked life. There is far more than our brains can ever comprehend.
I won’t be paying the fine. I have a ticket bought with a credit card dated and timed two hours before I got the penalty ticket. But I sense a game of hungry hungry hippos at Glentress at the moment. From the food to the wigwams to the bike repairs it’s becoming an over priced fast. No one asked the forestry commission to spend excessive amounts of money on a fancy car park and ugly buildings, so why should the car park fees have gone up and 1.60 for a coke!! I for one are boycotting the weak lattes and odd car park design. Cycling in from Peebles now with a flask 😉
Thanks for the replies. Folk seem to have had success with eating low carb. I have no intention of giving up veg. I don’t really crave food during the day. It’s the evenings what seems to be the struggle.
I took Prozac from February to April then came off them. I craved carbs when I got depressed and went from a toned 12 stone to a flabby 16 stone very quickly. The depression is under control as the situation which made me depressed has gone. Going on the meds was a terrible decision and only made me feel worse. Hard to explain my state of mind at the time. However the carb eating has got out of control.
I have read its tough for the first 3-28 days then gets easier. I’m fully committed to this. I have dropped 20kg before but that was when I had no work and went to glentress 6 days a week.
I have just bought a mtb mag for the first time in a very long time ‘What Mountain Bike’. At this precise moment I would like to shoot and kill Guy Kesteven for a rather pathetic set of bike reviews using buzzwords with no evidence and overly using adjectives to make himself sound clever. Plus he looks like a tool in the photos. Thus making the sport just a little bit more less cool.
Cancel your order? See what happens. A few years ago I ordered and paid up front in full for a Orange Five. I was told 3-4 weeks. 5 months later it arrived. A week after asking for my money back.
The point is that their only concern is to sell bikes. The two years research done by Giant was to see if they could get a large proportion of their target market to swap over to a new wheel size. It makes absolute sense to them to do this. The spares for 26 bikes will be around for years. The quality of current 26 frames will last for years. The choice will be there for some time.
This is only a wild guess. The ebay listing is legit and the the gumtree is some sort of scam where he takes a small deposit normally through paypal to hold the bike ‘as lots of people are viewing it’ I enquired once about a road bike in Dundee and he wanted 50 quid through paypal which he would return if I didn’t want to buy it!
