If you have sh1te kness / ankles they can be good because the belt is cushioned. I stopped road running due to shinsplints but don’t get them half as bad on a treadmill. Also good for hanging clothes on.

Could easily get away with that lot. I’d boil the lentils with some garlic, chillies, and a bit of the paprika (some tumeric as well if you have some knocking about). Then to make a tadka with the rest just fry (in plenty of oil)the onions, more garlic and chillies, ginger (not loads), cumin and paprika. Drain lentils, put in a bowl, and spoon the tadka over them. Done.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button – I really enjoyed it even though I felt it never really ‘took off’. Someone had said it was similar to Forest Gump and I found myself thinking of this all the way through the film. Which annoyed me. No attempt to really explain the how or why, but interesting concept, great acting and a bit emotional at the end.

Gran Torino – def. worth a watch. Bit drunk when I watched it so won’t attempt a critique.
