Skin 1 sausage per person, mash it up in a frying pan and cook on a low heat for about 10mins until golden. Chuck in some crushed Fennel seeds and Chilli. Fry for a couple mins more, throw in a glass of white wine, reduce. Throw in a knob of butter, a handful of parmesan and parsley and a squeeze of lemon then mix with some cooked penne pasta an jobs a good ‘un.

The warranty is with the manufacturer so just go back to the Edinburgh Bike Co-op and they will honour the warranty. I’ve just taken my Reverb that I got from TBC back to them and they sorted it out with no hassle.

My iPhone recently went through a full cycle in my washing machine. I put it on a towel on top of a radiator, left it for a few days, then charged it up and all was well. It kinda hiccupped for a few days and the screen had a white bloom to it but it faded and is working completely fine. I’d leave it for at least a week if I did it again.

Cheers for the suggestions. Two votes for The Rat but there’s the thought of a Micro brewery tugging at me! Decisions Decisions.

Went up last night, down Maidens and round Black Hill. It was dry as a bone. I’ve only been riding for a year but it was the driest I’ve seen it. Was looking forward to my up coming holiday, lots of long night rides ’till I checked the weather………rain for the next 7 days!

Cheers to the guy I met on Black Hill who showed me some more trails I didn’t know about. Thanks Dougie.

    Doubt that’s the case really.

I’m just imagining the scenario of a driver not from the local area arriving at the roundabout for the first time, they’ve not seen any local advertising about the new style roundabout and they speed towards the exit. The driver see’s the zebra crossing with no pedestrians on it, there are unfamiliar markings before the zebra crossing which don’t tell the driver to stop for cyclists, then bang!

    will require education

I agree, but a lot of people learn by their mistakes- which in this case could be costly.

I recently read the instructions on a box of tea bags (I was bored waiting for the kettle to boil) and it said to use fresh water to boil as re-boiled water would impair the taste.

Please tell me you’re going to actually jump out of a moving car onto your bike.

Keep the bike, just cos you won’t get out much now doesn’t mean you won’t in the future. Or get yourself a big light an do all your riding at night, it’s how I fit riding in round my two youngsters ( a 3yr old and a 1yr old). Once your wee one sleeps through the night you’ll find they’ll sleep from 6 or 7pm ’till the morning so your nights are free to ride.

The taxable amount is roughly £3000 which will cost you about £700 a year. This is split between the van tax and a fuel tax. In my company brief there is no mention of different tax for engine sizes.

I’m starting to wonder if it’s because it’s sometimes stored compressed? I sometimes have to due to space so could be a cause of the leak?

Same here. Mine was fine till I put it in the car compressed after hearing on here people do it all the time. Last time I’m listening to you lot

Mine is suffering the same problem. Not had much time to investigate the issue but I think it’ll be more of a sealing issue so bleeding won’t solve it.

There might have been some rejigging in that time – but there has been a junction there for a long time.

Round the corner, to the right in front of the taxi, is now a paved area with benches and flower beds, the junction no longer exists. The High St is now a one way system going down the street towards the rugby club.
