What’s the consensus on tyre choice? I only did the Caberston trails today. 2.5 Minion up front and thought things were a tad slippy on stage 2. What were the GT trails like mud wise?
Minion SS is just too narrow and square for wide rims.
I’ve just fitted an SS tonight on a 35mm internal rim and it has a lot more pronounced curve than in that photo. It poured with rain as I was fitting it so it may not be on for long!!
Do you drive to where you ride or do you leave from the house? I have to drive to my nearest trails so dont get a warm up. The first climb is a killer but find the second lap’s easier (getting fitter also helps!)
We were up on Wednesday night in the pouring rain. Complete bog fest in parts but surprisingly grippy. We did 3G, Community Service and Final fling. 3G was the worst but still enjoyable.
[/quote]Are the roads PFI too? Shocking state in Edinburgh.
I had a sudden realisation while driving round Edinburgh the other day. The reason they spent all that money on the tram was to keep the tourist off the utterly awful roads
”Twas not sunny and calm when I got there!! Favourite bit of the day was a really wee kid screaming ‘PIN IT” at me as I stumbled over some routes on the last stage. Ace day and a huge thanks to the marshals for enduring the enduro!
The Last of Us because it’s a great story but also for the way it makes you play slowly and absorb the game.
Mass effect for the scale and decent RPG style.
And GTA IV. Again for scale but also story and the driving physics ( although- as with all GTA games- I wish they would sort out the character control when on foot)
[/quoteI’d be keen for some pentlands riding! I would struggle to commit to every week but a few evenings a month would be manageable.
I’d be heading out along canal/water of leith to get there.
Same here. I could manage random Mon/Tues or Thurs. My wife works late so I can’t commit to a regular thing.
