It’s been said that I have 2 left feet! Today I had 2 right (wrong) feet. Packed my trainers last night and cycled to the Parkrun this morning. Got there and realised I had packed 2 different trainers but both were for the right foot!! Ran my first Parkrun wearing clipless 5:10’s. Did it in 37:46 and was challenged to a sprint finish by a 70yr old 🥳🥳. I claim a success tho 😂

Mostly Yoga and walking (yes I am that unfit!) for me, but tomorrow I will try my first Parkrun! I’m aiming to not be the last one  over the finish line! I’ll report back if I survive!!

If Herriot Watt then Currie, Balerno. If QMU then Musselburgh and Portobello would be ideal

Well this thread couldn’t have come at a better time. I’d drifted away from STW this year for various reasons (mostly health) but took a little look this afternoon and found this thread. I have been unsuccessful at this every year I’ve tried it but going to give it another bash! Started off with a 35min walk this evening. Hopefully I’ll shift some of this major weight I’ve gained this year!

And riding at FOD recently found this little boy with his bike all by himself.

A few years back I came across 2 kids about 8 & 10 at Glentress screaming for their Dad. Turns out Dad sent them down the Blue while he went off to do the Red. Usually you arrange in advance so it transfers on x date in the future so there is no chance of an over payment to old lender

We’re doing it all ourselves and just realised we gave the new lender the current balance of the mortgage but we put a completion date of September so just wondered if this would be an issue or we could pocket the extra.

Last year the route was bone dry and I used Gravel King 43mm Semi Slicks and they were perfect if that helps any decision making!

Its a brilliant day out and the route gets easier in the second half.
