You people are bloody ridiculous sometimes, it’s quite incredible what you’ll find to whinge about! It’s almost as if you WANT to be miserable bastards.. like it’s some kind of lifestyle choice that you’re pursuing.

Just stating a fact my dear fellow. No whinge there. 🙂

11g sugar per 100ml – or 22 teaspoons per litre carton.

Like having 7 sugars in your coffee. 😕

Looks like a scorcher over the next few days, enjoy!

For galleries take a walk down Dundas Street, that’s where I buy all my art.

Modern art gallery down at Dean Bridge sells prints if that’s more what you’re after.

EDIT: Too slow, what hels said ^. That’ll teach me to go and make a cuppa mid post.

Have you contacted On One, can they not be of any assistance with a replacement frame or repair?

EDIT: I’m too slow, it’s early.

As a keen boat spotter I would be interested to know when such a boat might be planning on sailing? 😉

I’m trying hard to resist getting some 160mm forks for my Heckler….the Fox 32 just don’t seem right for the way i want to ride it!!

Hecklers loves 160 forks. But make sure you get something with travel adjustment for steep climbs.

    Yes.
Pretty quick usually if it’s in stock.

Been in a rolled car but in back seat as passanger.

Got thrown out of back window whilst car was upside down, knocked out them came round about 100 yards down the road behind the car.

When I stood up I was facing down the road where we came from in the middle of the night and as I couldn’t see the car I had no idea what I was doing there. Just stood in the road for a minute wondering if I was dreaming.

As I turned around I could see the car up the road and it came back to me.

Apart from some cuts to my hands there was nothing wrong with either me or the other 4 people in the car.

Very lucky, police said they were expecting fatalities when they arrived.

No confrontations with anyone, however the dog turd situation up there has put me off riding in the area.

Since opening its doors 25 years ago, Chain Reaction Cycles has grown from a small family-owned village bike shop in Ballynure, Northern Ireland to the number one online bike store in the world, operating from a 100,000 sq ft, purpose-built factory. The original Ballynure Cycles, the humble brainchild of George and Janice Watson, came into being thanks to a £1,500 bank loan. But the hard-riding pair had their eyes on greater things and in 1989 moved to larger premises. Ten years later, as Chain Reaction Cycles, it went online and the rest is history. Still family-owned, it is now run by the Watsons’ son, Chris. In 2009, it made £8m profit on £77.4m sales and should be worth £75m.

How many STW users are there?
We can all chip in and buy it as a co-op, then sell ourselves cheap stuff as a non-profit organisation.

in the good old days I used to go out and do a quick 20 mile loop in the Dumfrieshire countryside using a Cateye light. Think it had a 1W bulb. It produced a dim dot of light about a foot wide so I would angle it left slightly to mark the edge of the road and follow that.
    .
Nothing better than the feeling of being out when no one else is. Although I would spook myself quite a lot with any noises behind me which were obviously wolves and axe murders. 😕

I’ve always used Lints on Leith Walk (Crichton Place I think). John Lints is a really great guy to deal with and so organised he was always one step ahead of what needed done.

Not sure how they compare fee wise but they were worth every penny.

One thing I have done in the past is take wheels off bike, lie frame on it’s side supporting swing arm and front triangle separately on blocks of wood.. Then press down on pivot area. Does it creak? Also try removing shock and doing the same. That way you’ll rule out pivot bearings and shock mounts by isolating the frame form the other parts.
    .
After that start looking at bottom bracket, cranks, rear QR, etc.

    Slieve League. Spectacular!

Located on the coast of County Donegal, Ireland, Slieve League (Irish: Sliabh Liag), at 601 metres, has Ireland’s highest sea cliffs. Less famous than the Cliffs of Moher, in County Clare, Slieve League reaches almost three times higher than Clare’s famous attraction.
