Upgrading to iOS 10, then finding out that you can’t backup phone to your old mac as it’s ‘obsolete’ and doesn’t support the version of iTunes required. Apple support say I can’t downgrade back to iOs 9 and their solution was to buy a new Mac. 😡

All people seem to have to speak about is having a ride, ride after work, ride at the weekend….how ‘knarly’ they were at the weekend…and i’m not talking kids here, i’m talking about grown adults 30-50 years of age. I find the whole thing a tad cringe worthy.

For that price you could consider custom build? If you are in the Alps on long descents braking power and heat should be a consideration.

Muriel Gray originally of The Tube fame. She rescued my broken collar boned friend in the Scottish highlands in her Chinquicento car about 5 miles from the nearest tarmac road. Her husband Hamish then drove him to a Fort William hospital and back. Their neighbour then drove us back to Dalwhinnie to pick up our cars so we could all get home.

We took them a bottle of malt as a thank you and ended up drinking it in their living room. Amazingly nice people indeed.

chip, genuine question here, do you know who pays for the marketing in a territory? Is it the local distributor such as Madison or does the money come from the manufacturer, Giro, or is it a bit of both?

If Madison pay for all UK marketing then they need to recoup this money through sales by supplying UK shops. Having no revenue from PX, etc. selling a imported identical product in their territory must be a little frustrating. If Giro pay some or all of the costs then it becomes a little different I suppose.

Any reason you’re not looking at carbon? These are all a bit lighter the the Kenesis if lower weight is the target. RT-57 and Ribble are also cheaper.

Not wanting to play it down but it could be cramp set off by overuse with the 2 hard training sessions without sufficient recovery time. If you’ve been sitting in the same position for a while when travelling to your holiday it wouldn’t help things either.

When the muscle go into spasm they tighten up hard and if you’ve tried to stretch them off whilst in spasm you can do some damage. It may be you’ve made it worse by stretching before they had a chance to relax.

Very painful, hope it eases off soon, lay off the training sessions for a few days and go for a few walks to keep the legs moving.

Maybe a visit to a doctor for a proper diagnosis as well. 😉

Yes it’s possible but very limited options, only one I could find. The only outer bash available due to the chainring bolt circle diameter seems to be the Blackspire Ring God X. They are like hens teeth to find but Tredz seem to sell them, other than that eBay is the best bet.

You’ll also need a chain guide. Blackspire stinger works quite well but is a bit fiddley to set up initially.

That’s what I run for 2×9 anyway and it seems to work just fine. I would think 2×10 wouldn’t be any different.

According to the web page linked below on Apple’s site you have a 5 year warranty in Scotland, 6 in England, but small print notes you have to prove the defect was there on delivery. Apple seem to have given you this proof through your discussion in store. Get in touch with your retailer as your contract and warranty is through them.

I have Troy Lee Knee/Shin KG5450 and love them. No Velcro straps just a Lycra sock so very comfy. Much better than the Kyle Straits they replaced which I personally couldn’t get on with.

Most are open trails or part of glentress way marked routes which will be rideable any time. The only exception as far as I know are parts of stage 3 off Ho Chi Minh which i believe will be closed after the race. You can bypass these though by going all the way fown Ho Chi Minh and get back on route at zoom or bust.

I have a set of talas 140 on mine. Never felt the need to drop them to either 120 or 100 travel, just leave them on 140 all the time.
