Having seen how hard Josh Lewis and Josh Bryceland ride their Solos, I wouldn’t worry about what it can and cant handle.

It’s a debt the minute you use someone else’s money to fund the purchase.

When you can’t afford it it becomes an unserviceable debt.

I have a Specialized 2.3 Slaughter in the back of my Camber. It’s super fast rolling.

I must be the only one who thinks the Borrowdale Bash is a pretty poor ride. It just didn’t do it for me. The descents were fun and I was on 110mm full sus, do needed to pick my lines.

It just seemed like little reward for what was a bit of a boring slog.

Must be better local cheeky stuff.

I rode Skiddaw and Borrowdale on my Camber 29r last September. Borrowdale was a fairly miserable rise to be honest.

However the Camber was pretty much perfect at Whinlatter.

I have 110 at the back of mine, I weigh 96kg and a decent size big old school ‘American’ bunny hop will use a fair bit of travel as I have it set fairly soft.

Most of my riding doesn’t involve drops or jumps.

My advice was to get used to a new set up.

The bike has had new forks/shock tune and cockpit moved.

My suggestion was to set a baseline, get used to its set up, then make small incremental changes.

You don’t give anything any time to bond with it, to learn the nuances of something.

Packing down to me means slow to recover from each hit.

Not sure what you really mean, harsh or packing down?

Packing down would suggest it’s not recovering from hits very quickly. So a slow rebound problem. Needs speeding up.

But I wouldn’t claim to know more than the Mojo guys as they tuned it for slow rebound.

I would leave it be and just get used to it.

My only confusion is how in previous threads you have suggested to other owners that the bike needs a shock tune. But you now don’t like show the bike rides post tune.
