Not many hills in the fens sir. Hence why I wanted to substitute my weekly ride with some more focused turbo work

I understand the Tabata method. I just wasn’t sure how many of those 6×20 sets I should be looking to do in one turbo session.

I ordered the CX V3s the other day so thank you for all your advice. I also dropped pressures from 100 down to 70 and haven’t noticed any extra rolling resistance or drop in speed.

I wonder how low I could go before I did notice a negative effect on Tarmac.

There definitely looks like there is room for a 35mm tire.

More bike thank most people need and a lot of 2015 models got no cheap.

So, a few site suggest the Kenesis wheels are not designed to run 100psi on 30mm tires.

Mine started life as a cheap winter runabout.

I have since retired my CAAD8 and have fallen for the Diverge.

It just eats up the miles. So comfortable .

Quite a chunk more expensive and centre lock not 6 bolt.

I would be looking at what bikes podium and what all the privateers are running.

Then I would maybe have some high end DVO/BOS/Ohlins suspension of I absolutely had to be different.

Most Specialized dealers will discount 20% off RRP with very little fuss.

I have bought a few Specialized bikes over the years (2 this year) and didnt once pay RRP.

Has to be cash for me, really good realstionship with my LBC means in there, cash is king.

I cant imagine paying £100 a month for 3 years when the item devalues so much, so quickly.

I have the small fuel pod, I use it on my Diverge.

It is usually just got snacks in for long ride, debit card and keys maybe.

On a longer ride I stick an extra spare tube in there too.
