From what I have been told the torque caps do come off and are replaceable with end caps to fit other forks. I wanted advice on here as to a solution not you trying to justify a used wheelset from Pinkbike that are sold as seen you now say you can’t use and are trying to send back. I am not a bike shop, the wheels are not new and you bought them from the description and were happy to proceed. You can sell the wheels rather than go to all the effort I went to packaging them and sending them to Scotland.

sf185047 is that it sorted? Don’t mind contributing as a goodwill gesture. In reference to your very first question on pinkbike if it wasn’t answered why didn’t you ask again if it was crucial to your buying decision?

I have emailed specialized directly as well this morning asking for their help so still actively on with trying to sort this out for you Stu. There are options and you never once referred back to torque caps so I would say it was for you to ask or clarify prior to purchasing.

nixie I 100% agree can’t believe it to be honest. Just trying to get it sorted the best I can. I’d happily point him to a website for the right end caps to put it to bed.

Thank you both. Always had Specialized and RockShox forks so never come across this and didn’t even know what torque caps were. Will look to source some or alternatively see if they’ll get them laithed down worst case.
