    Hmm, health secretary eh…

    Well I never:

    In other news:

Almost uncanny how many of the folk in this pic had roles in Al-Yamamah…

I’m aware of Melanie Shaw, but never really probed that deep as was worried about campaigning on her behalf, only to find she was a fraud.

Now, funnily enough, what led me to that course of action was the case of Ben Fellows, who’d been making accusations about Ken Clarke and was then arrested for perverting the course of justice.

However, as it turned out, a jury found Ben Fellows innocent…

Ken Clarke has been linked with abuse in Nottingham care homes and is an extremely powerful man… he held a key role in the Bilderberg group for several years and has a vast support network from his friends in the ‘Cambridge Mafia’, including many members of the elusive organization, Le Cercle, otherwise known as the Pinay Circle…

What’s more, he was Paymaster General at the time the Al Yamamah Arms deal was set up…

You know, the one that the Serious Fraud Office were prevented from investigating, then the files went missing

    It happened to involve Bandar Bin Sultan, who was thanked by Osama Bin Laden for bringing (covert) American aid to the mujahideen during Operation Cyclone;

funnily enough, Donald Trump’s campaign Manager, Paul Manafort was working with Bandar Bin Sultan, from 1984-1986, the time of both Operation Cyclone and the Al Yamamah deal.

you may note from the above article Bandar was also linked to the 9/11 hijackers, as detailed in the 28 pages…

This piece goes into a little more detail than mainstream sources

Could harp on about Bandar like usual, but for now, just remember how Saudi Arabia has been spending vast amounts on promoting wahhabism globally, which also happens to be the main ideology which drives groups such as Al-Qaeda and ISIS.

Bandar also happened to be the one draughted in to arrange the Saudi contingent in the conflicts in Syria and Yemen

Somehow though, the intelligence services haven’t picked up on any of that…

Wait though, WTF does this have to do with abuse in Children’s Homes in Nottingham and Ken Clarke?

he was Paymaster General at the time the Al Yamamah Arms deal was set up…

BAE accused of secretly paying £1bn to Saudi prince
    · Money moved via US bank
    · £30m payments a quarter
    · Sanctioned by MoD

‘According to legal sources familiar with the records, BAE Systems made cash transfers to Prince Bandar every three months for 10 years or more.

BAE drew the money from a confidential account held at the Bank of England that had been set up to facilitate the Al-Yamamah deal. Up to £2bn a year was deposited in the accounts as part of a complex arrangement allowing Saudi oil to be sold in return for shipments of Tornado aircraft and other arms.

Both BAE and the government’s arms sales department, the Defence Export Services Organisation (Deso), allegedly had drawing rights on the funds, which were held in a special Ministry of Defence account run by the government banker, the PAYMASTER GENERAL.

Now what was that thing about intelligence services, hidden cameras and coercion?

    Secret courts eh…

Since it’s for a winterized camper van for seasons in the Alps, I’ve got an eberspacher diesel fuelled water heater, which I’m going to plumb into the engine’s heater matrix loop, so not only will it help with cold starting, but also provide me with heating and hot water from engine heat; I’ve also got a couple of smaller rads from computer water cooling systems to help prevent the waste water tank (in garage under bed) from freezing… that also means I’ll have under bed heating!!

    She sounds completely bonkers…

    Dude, what?

Sometimes it’s not about the paper clips, but the paper trail…

Allen Dulles, later head of the CIA, was one of the key architects of Operation Paperclip, which led to such projects as MK-ULTRA

With Prescott Bush (Dubya and Jeb’s grandad), Dulles was also one of the key players in arranging the finances that led to WW2, maintaining financial support for the Nazi’s throughout the war then when the war was over laundering the profits of the Nazi’s exploits via Fritz Thyssen’s contacts within the Dutch Monarchy.

Is that conspiracy theory? Nope, just documented history which for some reason or other isn’t particularly well publicized

Just don’t ask how it relates to the Bilderberg Group…

Paperclips? Not that many required with so few public documents…

Perhaps you could encourage her to do some voluntary work with refugees from Syria or Yemen to show her there’s really nothing to worry about.

Always blown away by the diversity and creativity in this thread, restores my faith in humanity and ingenuity.

Keep it up guys, you rock!!

Here’s my latest, a heater for the van…

did an ebay search for ‘heater matrix’, bought the cheapest new one I could find that had standard hose fittings (turned out to be for a fiat punto), then bought a couple of computer fans (very low power consumption and easy to get plug and play fan controllers to vary the speed).

Bodged it all together with a bit of plywood and some hole plate I had laying around; turned out the fans blew in the opposite direction to what I’d thought, so then had to make some blade guards out of a silicon cooking net

    And here she be:

Been a while, so some things may have changed significantly and there’s probably a bit more tourist infrastructure than when I was there 15 years ago.

Where in Central America are you arriving and how long are you going for?

If you’re after beaches, the Pacific tends to be warmer and Costa Rica tends to have the best beaches (the name kinda gives it away); taking a trip down to Corcovado National Park and stopping off at Uvita on the way comes highly recommended. Watch out for shady characters in Golfito.

Isla de Ometepe in Nicaragua is well worth a visit if you like massive freshwater lakes full of sharks and climbing volcanoes

Guatemala has the best overall blend of natural beauty, culture and accessibility; Lake Atitlan with its towering volcanoes, Tikal with it’s sprawling jungle ruins, hiking the highlands around Todos Santos Cuchumatan and the chilled vibes of Lanquin with caves, natural hot springs and tubing down the river in the twilight as bats flood out of the caves

Unless smoking crack and getting stabbed are the kind of thing you’re after, avoid Colon in Panama

    I could go on…

Still a work in progress, but started with this scale model made from a box I found in the bin.

    Coming along pretty nicely…

Table is made from an Ab exerciser I got for 99p and the top of the same TV stand that became seating in right of picture. It swings on a boom arm, rotates and by a massive stroke of luck, locks into place in the shelves I made between the front seats.

Haven’t had time yet, but seats will also form a 2nd bed.

Hob heatshield came into being because the ebay seller I bought the sink off happened to offer me a free spare he had no use for, because it was dented.

Working on shower at the moment, having to cut up a pre formed platic caravan shower unit because it wouldn’t fit the van’s profile and rebuild with waterproof ply.
