I personally can’t see what all the fuss is about, at the end of the day it’s a meal, like Fish and chips, beans on toast just ponced up and charged a small fortune for!!

I like it when the restauranteurs are preparing the food and weigh it all out to the last gramme, ensure it just comes to the boil before serving it, using a rule to ensure it’s so far from the edge – for some fat pi55ed up chumly to mash it all up and throw down his oversized gob all in one because there’s chuff all to eat!!

I also thought her chicken starter looked awful – V insipid. I was surprised that she didn’t get picked up on that.

That’s the french way of cooking tho isn’t it?

… none of them are Irish?

    Who mentioned Irish?

Local Morrison’s do Tullamore Dew for £15, very reasonable IMO, IIRC Bushmills 10 yo is on offer too.

Also, Claire was V poor last night, and yet she didn’t really get criticised.

I didn’t think she was that poor, she screwed up the consumme stuff and turned it into a broth – nice assist there Mickey, and they did say that it was too strong in the garlic dept, but the rest of it seemed ok.

Can’t wait for this evening’s edition.

My money has been on Ash after last week, Mickey Rooney is really impressed with his food AND if he were to come short he’s got a job lined up already I’m sure.

BTW – but did anyone else think Oli was Bez’s look-a-likey?

I take it the old Ashtanga classes have finished where you are?

Contact local sports centres and they should be able to direct you to the nearest Yoga classes, go along and have a look and a chat.

IMO any yoga class will help with flexibilty.

Though she also said that it’s a nice colour.

Reminds me off my ex, once asked what sort of car she had – I don’t it’s blue.

Maybe she prefers Single Speed because it’s one less thing to worry about?

I’m in the private sector, the wife’s works in the Public sector, she’s not striking but they have been told if you go out your position is in jeapordy when the next round of job cuts take place in the new year.

Nothing like a good bit of black-mail to prevent the democratic to air your views

Is that even legal? Presumably she has told her union rep…?

The union reps at her office are friendly with the management, so pointless really.

Another vote for the Gower, surf-school at Llangennith, a myriad of BP’s to ride.

Have a look at the trail-guide at the top of the page.

*BTW Riding Giants isn’t proper surfing, tow-in’s don’t count – IMO of course. *

The only MBR I’ve read in years was at Ty Seren guest house in Dolgellau. They had a big stack of them from the early 90’s.

MBR wasn’t going in the early 90s was it?

Think it started ’96/7, Brant was the original editor and it had cutting-edge tests at the time – which is the better Pastie or better Curry with contributions from the local Indian restaurants management.

Basically didn’t take itself too seriously.

Brake, if you have to beforehand, aim high and light – that’s the theory – which becomes, brake, panic too much speed, brake again, bugger not enough speed, slide, ooph ffs that hurt – check limbs.

As for boarded sections, Laggan spate me off in 20 metres – god was i tense afterwards.

Remember when Jo Brand was standing in for Rossie, god she was awful.

Best stand-in they had was the other xmas, Craig Charles was on in the afternoons.

Stewart Maconie (sic) is excellent whenever he stands in for someone

I listen to him sometimes on 6 music with Mark Radcliffe – after ten minutes I find myself “erring” after every other word.

At least the knob sitting in for Wrighty isn’t Tarrant.

Don’t think I’d notice the replacement of Wrighty with a knob as he is a prize tool anyhow. I can listen to Radio 2 all day but as soon as that pill*ck and his bunch of sychophants comes on, I start looking for the auto-tune button.

Even local BBC radio is better than that ****t

Maybe no one watches it so they’re shuving it into a slot more suited..

It’s a new series, how can they say no-one watches it?

On a different note Frozen planet has been amazing.

That’s another one too, new series they’ve paid for and it’s up against Attenborough.

I feel sorry for him, he was put in the position with hardly any experience then gets flamed when things go wrong.

As for Andrews, should have been kicked out ages ago.

Started going to the gym this year, as it’s still novel it’s fun….

Come January it won’t be, so I’ll be in the front room trying to play the guitar or catching up on the books I’ve bought over the past year.

Now we’ve got a spare telly I’ll get the PS2 set up in the front room and play Colin MacRae Rally until the clocks go forward!! :D

Its all a bit tedious tbh, yes its nice food, but come on!

It’s not about the food, it’s about the fine dining experience as Mickey Rouney jr puts it….bet they all pop around to Greggs for a BLT at lunchtime…

I too have an NRS Composite, currently fitted with Marzocchi Marathon forks, “only” 80mm travel but far more than adequate for me. Looking to go 2 x 9 speed when I have some cash spare.

    Excellent ride tho.
