Wheel a trolley? I do it every Saturday morning in Morrisons. How hard can it be?

Judging by most the Coffin Dogers who I see shopping in Morrison’s on a Saturday

    Bloody impossible!!

    Still down there.

Why does the Vuelta not attract the same publicity as the Gire or Tour, and is it ealrier than usual this year? :?

If I read that right – The Judge has said he has to face his accusers in court, where they will wheel out all his druggie team mates (sore losers, who were caught) and they’ll fling the mud hoping it’ll stick with no evidence / failed drug tests, unless the USADA have tests that the UCI, TdF didn’t release?

What if he proves he didn’t take drugs, the Dunking Stool to prove he isn’t a witch? :?

Still at the lower half (bottom) of the league – waiting for the drugs to kick in.

Just started Wallander – Faceless Killers, but will be going back to Clive Cussler’s Isaac Bell series afterwards.

Look up Stephen Leather – Spider Shepherd series is brilliant.

As an aside, who pays for the medals awarded at the Olympics, I guess the IOC, so that’s be McDee’s and the like?

Back on-topic, I guess sporting events that attracted big name stars will start suffering as they stay away because of our tax laws.

Can’t see Spurs doing that well this season, Villa-Boas did his best to get Chelski relegated.

I can see where he’s coming from on this, taking care of yourself first/ removing an anomoly, however I don’t think compulsion is the answer – I don’t think it is unforceable, a bit like using a mobile phone whilst driving, how many drivers do you still using a phone whilst driving?

What really gets my goat is folks who make their kids wear a helmet but don’t themselves.

The shop, cafe and uplift at Laggan are all closing down in October.

Could that be the end of the “season”? We were up there last year in September and the place was pretty quiet, admittedly the weather was absolutely attrocious so probably put a few folks off.

Just for the record, I used the trails on two occasions and the cafe was closed on both. Trails were excellent tho. :D

Undecided tbh, this sort of thing I find a bit cringeworthy, even though parts of it is an amazing spectacle.

Probably end up flicking over between BBC4 and BBC1.

So we’ve had the excuse of the Jubilee extra bank holidays AND the bonus working day 29th February – will Osbourne’s next excuse be – “Well due to the Olympics, Paralympics and the other lot of Lympics, London and the City were closed, and everyone will now be taxed at 50%”

Why won’t govt’s introduce the Robin Hood tax on banks as they got us in this mess? I know it’s a very simplistic view but with all the internal transaction they make with our money they oughtta pay more in the way of tax.

Not many beach breaks in Malvern. :?

In all seriousness tho, I’ve always loved the freedom bikes have given me, even when a kid in the 70’s – moved away from cycling in my teens then “rediscovered” it in my late 20’s and it still gives me that sense of freedom and inner smile when nailing that piece of singletrack at warp factor 11 – not many things can do that when 50 is fast approaching. 8)

Tough one this, the obvious buy land, build a house but where? Needs to be on the doorstep.

One of the best breaks in the country, Gwenver Cornwall, worse places for biking Cornwall.

Possibly North Wales, but surf iffy.

What to do, build the house from scratch, get the gardens growing become self-sufficent, brew beer.

What with that lot biking, surfing, walking hounds not a lot of time left.

Has Hamilton confirmed he’s stayng at McLaren?

I saw their speculation yesterday, but I find it difficult to belief he’s not looking around.

I would have thought there would be tape on the BMC where there are gaps in the brake areas to reduce drag by a fraction.

Money – lack of & high entry fees.

IMHO – lower the entry fees and more people will participate, profit margins will be tighter but you need bum’s on seats in the first place before you can start worrying about profits.

Can anybody explain how, back in the days before race radios, riders knew how far ahead a breakaway was (and probably have a DS giving them exact km/h to go)? I find the ‘catch’ just a few K before the finish is all too predictable in recent years (though you very occasionally get a maverick Millar ride if you’re lucky). But back in the 50s, 60s and 70s, how did riders know who was where? Spotters at the roadside?

Chap on a motorbike with a chalkboard and race radio.
