Don’t look too closely at the spelling of “lever” either. :?

We’ve got playing fields over the back from us with 2 football pitches, and the amount of crap on the pitches sure makes me feel sorry for anyone playing football.

Perhaps the local councils should start enforcing their bye-laws as opposed to just putting stupid signs up.

A couple of £500 fines may focus the mind a bit.

Helmets yes, compulsory no – leave it to the choice of the individual, atm we are being mollycoddled by this nanny state saying “you should do this, you shouldn’t do that” – let people decide for themselves FFS, next thing you’ll know we’ll be wearing helmets and HANS systems driving to Morrisons in the car.

Unless supermarkets buy into this idea you won’t stop the binge drinking culture. As they’ll carry on with the loss-leading exercise it’s a waste of time.

Balance and compromise – last week we were down Afan way and got to go out on bike on 3 separate occasions, she was cool with it because we had a week away and managed to do other things too.

September is a different kettle of fish – 2 weeks in Croyde and hopefully I’ll get to surf everyday, but I’ll balance it with the sight-seeing thing with her and the dogs too.

You could always trade her in with for a model with similar interests – very tempting at times I’ll admit.

I mean really – who is buying this toss?

I ask myself the same question about Radiohead after Ok Computer.

Coffin dodgers who insist on shopping at lunchtime, when they have all day to do it.

Supermarkets who put the slowest person in the store on the express till.

Folks who have no off road parking, then moan that they can’t park outside their house. You are parking on the public highway at the end of the day – don’t like it buy a house with a drive!!

We used to pay utility bills by DD, until we owed BG £150 and had paid £100 by DD, the balance was due for payment 2 days after the statement, so they said, in their infinite wisdom they were increasing our monthly payment to the bill’s total not the amount we owed. Rang them up and explained what was happening and the helpful assistant said they had the right to charge whatever they wanted, so we cancelled the DD and put the money in a separate account and now pay it when the bill arrives.

We love the programme, however me and the mrs are convinced they’re not sat in the same room together when they debate the food/chef’s whatever. And do they take it in turns to hit the cooking vino?

Does it really change their lives however?
