Red lights are for car users only surely?

Think you'll find they apply to all road users.

I'm afraid I have no sympathy with the fella, he jumped a light, got caught, failed to stop when instructed to – fair enough IMO. Trouble is though, with other crimes seemingly on the increase the feds are doing themselves no favours in this instance.

Depends on what pads you use and whether they've been bled / set up effectively IME.

Think yourself lucky she's given it some thought and got you something, mine doesn't bother unless I draw up a list for her.

1996 Kona Cinder Cone, think it was the last year they were Cro-Mo frames, was so so sweet on singletrack.

I always fancied a De Kerf, but never had the cash for one.

If he doesn't go out in the wet, why has he entered an Enduro in Wales in April?

Just get him out every week whatever the weather.

You'll seem to go up more than down. The trails drain quite well.

If the weathers half decent they'll be crawling with tourists saying "You shouldn't be riding up here"

I think they all use men for sex, which just seems to get wilder and wilder until they get a commitment then it becomes taboo and you're lucky to get it once a year and they accuse you of only being interested in one thing!!!

Having read that Frank Dernie does make a lot of sense, and would bring driver error back into play alot more. Ditch telemetery too.

Puddle of mud – She Hates Me, is a great way of getting your head around power chords.

They'll appeal to the lower end market – bit like any of the supermarkets selling anything sporty, may encourage the chavs to get out of the car a bit more.

i can play (the more common) chords not a prob, but for the life of me i can't figure out how to play something like wonderwall. where am i going wrong?

Wonderwall is best played with a capo at the 2nd fret.

For technique in a limited time get this

As said before, it's pretty easy to make – you do have to add make it with more flour than you think.

I've never hung it anywhere to dry – just roll it out, flour it up, roll it up, cut to required width and chucked it in the pan of water.

IMO it's just a means of burying bad news – public sector workers striking maybe – just release a contentious story to hide another one.

All it'll target is the responsible dog owners, the ones who own them for status / protection / sport will just go underground, and it'll encourage illegal breeding. Lets face it, alot of areas where the "dangerous" dogs live the feds won't get out the car if they can help it.

Achtung Baby pretty much all the way.

Although I came across POP t'other day and really enjoyed it, I wasn't that keen on it at the time, but it was quite a change of direction for them, and if anything underproduced. Pity they didn't stick with it.

is Digital radio going to die out?

I'm of the fit and forget mentallity – WTB Veloceraptor's atm, mainly because I can't afford 2 or 3 different sets of tyres and the hassle aspect of changing them whenever I want to ride on the limited time I get.

Wasn't beer always cheaper in supermarkets?

The worrying part is though, beer is cheaper than a bottle of water!!

For me it's the supermarkets – crate of mouthwash, sorry lager £8 for 20 odd cans / 4 bottles of ale for £5.50 or around £3 a pint in a pub, which if it's a gastro pub has a bunch of 30 somethings taking over two or three tables and let their kids runaround as if they're at home.

If it's a training ride surely speeds irrelevant? Thought the idea was to ride for a given time span in a given zone? :?

Okay, using a road bike on the road means you can attain a higher speed, but speed isn't really the issue in this case.

Don't understand what the problem is – a weekend away at Afan, 4 trails – Penhydd worth doing at least twice IMO.

Ideal weekend – Penhydd, W2, lunch at drop-off then ride back.

Maybe do Skyline, the Wall and finish off with Penhydd.

You'll be fine with a HT.

Where exactly is this "blame the dog attitude"?

Mmm, the tag – dead dogs rock, gives it away a bit.

Unfortunately, I have 2 dogs, and yes I pick it up every time – unless the one is doing it behind a bush 30 feet of the footpath and I'm likely to injure myself picking it up. But the biggest problem around here along with doggy doo do, is broken bottles – at least one on every stretch we walk, disgarded food, vomit from last nights excesses that can go weeks without being cleaned by the coumcil. Even witnessed a pidgeon decomposing on a roadside the year before last.
