    Hat's off to the guy.

He does remind me of Baron Greenback off Dangermouse.

    What's the problem?

I drive a VW Type 25 LH drive and the only "problems" I have these days is pulling out of wide junctions to the left because of the blindspot caused by the bodywork. Overtaking left to motorways.

Take it for a test drive and see how you get on, at first you'll be driving too the right.

[pedant]Shouldn't it be left hand steering?[/pedant]

Best time to go at weekends atm is either early morning 6 / 7 am, when you'll just see dog walkers like myself, or in the evening when it tends to be locals.

I think supermarkets help fuel this – I mean 3 cases of wifebeater, sorry Stella for £18, I mean works out a 50p a can FFS!!!

Wish they'd do the offer for ale, not this insipid chemical lager sh**e!!

    Undecided atm.

To join in the Public / Private sector argument, the office where Mrs J works has admin staff paid at least £20k pa, they'll not be receiving a pay freeze – even though they do chuff all because the management in her office are weak, they've even said that they can't dismiss staff because anyone who goes isn't going to be replaced, so they're stuck with them. Whereas myself in the private sector on considerably less than £21k hasn't had a pay rise for the last two years and see no signs of one am well and truly f***ed!!

I was going to listen to it on 5 live but I would rather be able to see what is happening. I just hope its worth the effort and not another dismal performance like last week.

If it's anything like the Algeria game, Alan Green's commentary was the highlight of the game.

Mmm, feel quite underwhelmed now – was hoping for someone who I could name more than one tune of.

*which I can't for the life of me think of*

How about Radiohead? Not headlined for a while, but again can they organise/rehearse in such a short amount of time.

Mmm, if they're not doing anything I can see them getting the call – always a favourite.

There was a rumour that Percy was in talks with Eavis about getting Zeppelin a slot in the tail end of last year.

But it may also depend on what TCV are up to.

The plan was I'd pop over and do the Sunday ride then show mates around.

Love to do a ride during the week, but work is interupting the idea atm.

Have they gone and bolloxed our World Cup bid in order to sell a few more papers?

Nope, they did it in the interest of the nation….

WTF that is is beyond me, but if pushed they'd say it was in the national interest.

imagine if this was not only the downfall of the world cup bid, but also the downfall of the daily mail as all the loutish footy fans stop buying it.

Nah, most loutish footy fans go for the red bannered papers, far too many syllables in the Daliy Mail. :D

The government runs the country, we run our lives.

And everytime thet screw it up or miscalculate growth / spending, we get stung by either cuts in services or increase in taxes if not both.

I personally think Freddie Mercury was the ultimate frontman, but it did seem such a big fubar to omit Percy.

Avoid Malvern the sun will be shining and the anti-bike / dog brigade will be out in full force – hell the Conservators don't like people using walking on the hills!!

Wyre you'll need a guide, so Long Mynd is your place IMO.
