If you increase the duty and VAT raised on the extra duty, and ban the sale of loss-leading drinks by supermarkets and the like you won’t increase revenue?

Also these are duty prices before manufacturing / distribution costs are taken into account.

Why don’t they just remove the paddle shift gear levers so driver error becomes more pronounced.

IIRC the only difference between light and medium strings is there is less chance of bending notes accidently. The change in gauge shouldn’t make any difference, the truss rod should be more than up to the job.

Phosphor bronze strings just sound jinglier/janglier(?) imo.
