i think its more to do with rim and tyre comb rather than pump. my flow rims and bonty tubless easy with track pump. my mavic with ghetto tubeless needs a comperessor.

yes new inner and outer, shifter crisp and releasing cable, with no cable does not return without a gentle prompt and hanger looks fine.

i have these same brakes . when you install the pads they need to be pushed in quite firmly untill you hear them 'click' into place. i have been known to use the flat blade of a screw driver to get enough press so the pads seat properlly. i never had a problem with pads falling out.

i noticed a crack on seat tube my 08 Trek ex9 on Saturday afternoon . took the bike to my LBS this monday afternoon under warranty and 24 hrs later they've phoned me to say they've had a new frame from Trek and its re-built and ready for collection.
so if your the original owner go back to your Trek dealer as there frames carry a lifetime warranty.

personally i’ve been running stans tubless with no problems for 7 months .i have fitted both stans and joes no-flats for mates and the only one that had a problem was the guy running panaracer xc’s on mavic rims. he hasn’t had problems with them rolling off the rim, only ‘burping’ off the rims on fast flinty / rocky descents.

from my experience fitting tubless tryes for friends is that panaracer fire xc’s are a very loose fit on the rims and can have a tendancy to burp off the rims on occasions so the correct tyre pressure is very important

i will be one of the team members for the event. we are not going there to ‘race’ ,but we’re hoping to set some respectable lap times but our main goal is to enjoy ourselves and finish the event
