    Where did you buy just the levers from?

    I have done the same thing. I have the Stages SB20. I have had it for 6 months and so far it’s been faultless. I can’t comment on using it in ERG as I mainly do group rides and races. It is quiet much quieter the the Elite XR trainer I had. Just remember its built like a tank so you don’t want to be moving it around. Position and forget. Set up wise is about 1 hour build time and it just connects and goes about its business. One think of note is that the power meters in the pedals need resetting occasionally but that’s a 5 second job using the app.

    Thanks for the feed back. It’s for a full suspension. So I’ll start with 6 and cycle the suspension and work backwards from that.

    They could send a small plane in front of them with the bell or hooter.

    I have been looking at these and wondered if they are i-spec only or do you get a clamp with them? Also are they compatible with Hope brakes or is an adapter required.

    insulation hand saw

    This type of insulation saw creates minimal dust as it has no teeth.

    I have not used one but the Tru Tension tyre monkey looked like it’s designed to take tight tyres off. I have seen a video somewhere looked good.

    Thanks for all the above responses.
    I’ll stick with the Pikes at 120mm for now and maybe experiment with 130mm in spring. Regards the SIDluxe , I’ll see how that performs again when the season changes to enable me to make the right call.

    @Onzadog

    I just had a look on MTBR the chat I looked at had no mention of 130mm out front so can you post a link , please.

    @Onzadog
    Are you going Spur light, or Spur burley?

    Some where between the two to be honest. XC / trail duties with gravity lead trails thrown in.
    130mm seems an interesting option. I thought Transition did not recommend lengthening the front travel.

    How you getting on with the pacemaker?
    I’m having mine done in approx a weeks time and was curious as to how the recovery is going and any tips you have come up with. Also day to day stuff.

    @Fanatic278,Thanks for that info. I thought that might be the case. I’m a carpenter so no doubt I can expect a lengthy spell off work as well. No one has spoke to me regards these points or my life style as of yet.

    @Fanatic278, speedy recovery.
    Out of curiosity how old are you?
    Regards the 3 months off the bike , why so long? Is it to let you heal properly or so not to stress the heart?

    I shall be watching this with interest as I’m in the same boat as you. Again fit ,slim and healthy. They discovered my issue after having what they thought was a seizure at 3am whilst asleep. After lots of testing and finally fitting an ECG recorder they found a similar issue to to yourself. Mine tends to happen whilst fully resting . So waiting for the call as well. Also very interested on the impact on riding both road and particularly MTB and any precautions I need to take with one fitted.

    I have a induction hob fitted so no more cooking for me

    I had the same issue using ROBUS led strip lights. Refused to connect to the router and phone. Swapped to 2.4 ghz and boom . Connected straight away .
    Not much help but as above worth trying,

    I’m colour blind and so is my twin brother. It makes people scratch their heads when we play snooker against each. We don’t get to hung up about what colours are left on the table :-)

    The tyres are Giant Gravia Ac 25mm which come stock on the bike. So not sure if their “quality tyres” . They are already setup tubeless so I shall just check how much sealant is in them and try them around the 70 psi mark and see how they are.

    thanks for the replies. so just a couple more questions. I’m 72kg and the wheels have 25mm tyres what sort of pressure should I be using as a starting point.
    Also where’s the best place to get threaded CO2 cannisters from?

    Cool thanks for the update. We was thinking Penhydd and the Wall but i think we will scuttle that idea and go to Brechfa.

    I tried quite a few pads in might pursuit of every day riding pads. I settled on Nukeproof critical enduro pads These. Their light weight , offer enough protection for most riding and not noticeable when on. I do have burlier pads for big stuff but these work most of the time.
    I got put off by pads with mesh backs after reading about them snagging on pedals and then only fit for the bin.

    Matt ,
    Thanks that’s helpful as I run around 20psi normally to so I shall experiment minus a few psi.

    I have just installed some inserts (rimpacts) and want to know what tyre pressure adjustments do people make who run them make, if any post install?

    Thanks for the replies guys

    Weeksy , thanks for the offer . If i was closer to you I would have accepted your offer.

    So I have had a little play. I reset the sag, being meticulous about cycling the shock every 20 psi when adding air. I have adjusted the rebound so it’s a little faster and went out and rode this afternoon. The ride was more gravity focussed and the rear end was 100% better to the point that I might just play with the LSC next time out.

    Thanks again.

    The trainer is a Elite Directo XR
    , this connects faultlessly. The iPhone is not recognising the HRM when using the Zwift app even though the phone shows it connected.

    So does anyone else have the same problem using a laptop where it keeps crashing mid ride. I tried three events/races today and they all crashed very early on. This has been happening for a while and I cannot resolve it. Updated windows 10 and made sure graphics card has the latest driver update. I restart start the laptop before each session so nothing else is running.

    Below is my laptop spec , its a 2 months old Dell

    Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1035G1 CPU @ 1.00GHz 1.19 GHz
    Installed RAM 8.00 GB (7.77 GB usable)
    System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
    Intel(R) UHD graphics

    I have seen you can send windows error log reports but thats way to techy for me.
    Any suggestion or fixes

    That’s a pita. Sometimes when I have pre enter a race/ride and the start notification fails to appear I end up missing the event due to the faff of restarting the App .Arghhhh

    I use my laptop for Zwift, so how do you navigate back to the main ride menu once you have finished or stopped a race or ride without having to restart Zwift . Every time I save the ride and the app closes down.

    There are discounts in place if you use the carpark early and get out of there by 11am i think. Also there are options to park for free if you know where. I use park lane which is Cranbrook side of the woods.
