Carcass is easy it’s the doors that are hard to make pretty, buy some nice door/draw fronts and make the rest yourself.

If they can make a Robot that can drive, test and commission power boats that’s will be cool and then I can just test and commission them instead but probably get paid more. Win win

Perhaps when your wife said something was knocking on her new bike it would of been wise to check it for her rather than just poo pooing her

I’ve had my Slant RL2 DLA’s a couple of months now, have been faultless so far, compression tune seems spot on and the travel adjust 160-140 works great.

I have Slant rl2 Dla’s on my Zesty, I love them 160 or 140mm at the flick of a switch, it is one or the other though.
At 140mm next to my 140 float 32’s they were pretty much identical axle to crown.

I have a 2008 S3 and it is very quick and grips like anything.
I’ve also had a 99 R1 and unless it was wet the R1 would destroy the S3 on nearly any road.

Hi have a pair and think they are great, far better than the floats they replaced. Standard stantions on mine and the dla works a treat.

Sorry my mistake, I thought you could not get the hose off the barb.
If your trying to get the control onto the hose just screw the whole lot in and then mount the control

OK. Find me an independent Ducati specialist near Farnborough, Hants…

Snells in Alton are fantastic and have a superb workshop, also Moto rapido in Winchester also top notch service and quality staff.

Both have HUGE amounts of Ducati experience

But the icon floats which is worth an awfull lot if you drop it, good call on the VHF and PLB,but one with gps is about £250, if your in a small vessel you really need as small a search area as you can give

    jimmy748

Get a icon with lat long and dsc, and don’t worry about the VHF certificate (people=certificate, vessels=license) just don’t be a muppet with the radio and only use it when you need to.

I have a complete Ducati 748 cyclinder head with a pair of bent (exhaust) and a pair of straight valves (Inlet) you can have if it’s any good to you, also might be able to sort out some tools. Based in bournemouth, probably got some old bikes of the family farm to but that’s in west Sussex so may be a little far, I know there’s an old Dt125 in a shed somewhere.
