I had XT M8000 in my T130 and replaced them with E4/X2 combo, the bite point was all over the place dispute multiple bleeds, I also hated the short lever and I spec shifter mount as I like my shifter inboard out the way and brake with my index finger.

I use “I love meet and great” parking around twice a month, excellent service and well priced, if you are only away for a day or so the short stay parking is often cheaper than Valet and occasionally cheaper than long stay

Cheers, I’m sick of my M8000 brakes bite point wandering and am going through swap to Hope E4/X2 combo, as I’m not a fan of the I spec system shifter will be going to.

Puddletown is riding well and is fine in all weather if you stick to the top half.
I’m there next Friday 9.00-11.00 and will be doing a few days between Xmas and New Year.

Couple of years old but 3rd run in this video is now all open hillside after the logging but is still there and running nice the rest are all still there along with plenty of others.

Use a second person to hold them arm at the angle required to have the face on a bench while you knock it out, try some penetrating fluid in there first

It will work for both sides, just rest the swing arm against a bench of some kind will only need a gentle tap to get them out.

13mm socket on inside of pivot (I’m sure it’s 13mm although check first, will fit snugly in the swing arm hole) , extension bar through oppersite pivot, hit with hammer.

Dorset rough riders do Wareham forest every Wednesday from the claypipe pub, for puddletown just park on the road alongside the forest and follow your nose, ride up the fire track and look at the side for trail entrances.
If you want a guided tour give me a shout (email in profile). I’m normally there at least once or twice a week. 4-5ish after work or weekends.

It’s quite flat, ok for technical singletrack and perfect for singlespeeding but for the good stuff puddletown is where it’s at.
