Definitely doesn’t need a different mount, the only difference is the size of one of the pairs of pistons,

Wrong way round, Aluminium has a higher thermal conductivity compared to steel, it can transfer heat more efficiently, allowing it to cool down faster.

“ which is why he will never win the event. The judges aren’t going to let a rider sponsored by the opposition especially they want the gig next year”

Last years winner was a Monster athlete.

Brendon’s score was a joke though, even if he didn’t win, should have been top 3

How do you think Specalized should have managed their “ownership” of a 3rd party shop better?

Once the dry lube has dried, bit of gt85 or similar on a rag, a wipe the excess off the outer plates.

“ Those paying close attention will have realised that it isn’t a full stop in the OPs post but a microdot.”

For goodness sake don’t lick it, the Microdot’s i remember were far from disappointing.

Been a busy week opening our new training center and running courses in Liguria, first chance to get up the hill this evening, need to make the most of it over the next few days, as next weeks weather looks horrific.

Bike No1, which is perfect for everything I want is a 200/165(or 172)mm fs, Mullet DH/Enduro/Trail/XC bike, which I’ve done 950 miles and around 140,000 ft of elevation on since getting it on the 24th of May.

Bike No2 is a 130mm 27.5 hardtail, which I’ve probably done a couple of hundred miles on this year.

Unless it’s very flat and/or in a fast group, I will ride bike #1 as a preference.

Bit of Windhill, lap of Longeleat (saw Chris Smith and his lad outside the main house) and Shearwater, then a stop for refreshments at Compton Abbas on the way home.

The roads set back from the shoreline are free, park here and go down the alleyway to the shoreline.

I’ve had Scott prospects the last 5 years or so, very comfortable with a nice material over the normal foam which has lasted very well and are great with the enduro lens (double glazed), also available in many colour combinations.

Ordered some discounted Burgtec Mk4 pedals from them one night, when the Mk5 first came out, they emailed in the morning to say sorry there was a stock problem and they didn’t have the Mk4’s but would I like the Mk5 instead for no extra charge.

Ah gotcha. I presumed they are bonded rather than threaded.

That’s not how they work, the top cap just screws on and houses the upper bush, you can unscrew it completely and the post will still work, just wobbly at the top, the only parts that stop the inner shaft rotating inside the outer tube are the brass keyways, to be damaged enough to rotate, it would not go up and down.

Are you sure it’s not the whole post moving, if it’s fully inserted maybe the top cap if catching on the seat clamp and stays stationary while the post rotates.

I have one that does the same, across 3 sets of pro 4 hubs, and 4 freehubs, one of them is just ever so slightly oversized, you can eventually force it in, but can be seen bulging and drags in the freehub body. I just chucked it in a spares draw and used another one.
