Ive seen pics of broken ones.

Dont think you need a special clamp

The rear much will be needed if you have more than one gear, front or rear, due to changing chain tension

If you use the “Tune In” app its very good quality, really clear, even over bluetooth

Get one of the above, for less than 25 notes it connects to my android tab and pugs into my amp and just works, plays YouTube, spotify, mp3s, anything that comes out of the tab will come out of the stereo, automatically

Byer Dynamic DT 250 are what i use at work for (pro) radio, Beyer Dynamic do cheaper ones, but these are great, no distortion at any volume, you can even use them as mini speakers (although I dont think that they are designed for this)

I did some carbon road forks with Plasticoat type stuff (Wilko’s own brand), Matt Black, really good resultes. Very light sanding with fine Wet and Dry, then about 3-4 very light coats from a good distance

It may be obvious, but make sure that you’re tightening the star nut first, then tightening the stem bolts afterwards-really important that its that way around

Looks like what I have on my 2011 RRs, not that tough (i have a bit of wall damage from not too tough use), wear down quick, but light and quick/roll fast

Morocco is a good option, cheap flights to Maarakech with Estjet, easily get up to the High Atlas mountains, or go to beach area, or hang out in the “city”. Really enjoyed my visit

Do you have a work Blackberry or other device? My work use a “work around” to make sure that inboxs are sync’d between devices, and are automatically cc’d to my Blackberry,

It maybe less scary than you thought?

Got chain suck badly on my (at the time) new c456, factory build, found out it happened when i had just lubed chain, so lube (which was v sticky) made chain stick to the rings , made a lovely gouge in the chainstay

I’m pretty much exactly the same height, and have a large SL Pro Carbon, and run it with a 110mm stem, I think I could have gone for an XL, but I find it very comfortable, even a little stretched with the long stem.

Had it for over 3 years now, great bike

Yeah the “touring” ones mcmoonter put a pic of are great, I used them at Coed Y Brenin yesterday, not as much grip as flats on the non spd side, but better than those double spd platform combo ones

I’ve had two cheap ones over the years, one got melted by the degreaser I used, the other became brittle and cracked very easily, I would spend spend a bit next time

Nice one Mac, doesnt seem like its completely necessary, but you never know! Good that someone has used it so often with no problems, will keep an eye and check frequently!

The thinnest ones (short sleeve or vest) are very thin, I ve got a white t shirt and it is very see through. On the smaller side too. But very good for actual base layers, but not for pub wear.

The 1/4 zip jersey is heavy weight, and come up large on me, needs taking in really

LED and LCD are the same really, LED is just referring to the back light used, which in the LED case in a lower energy, also makes them thinner.

If you go for Sony or Panasonic it will be fine, even Samsung is good.

Haldon is pretty good, almost all singletrack, not quite South Wales, but the red is worth doing , not too long, but worth stopping at if in the area (its v near the bottom of the M5 and the A38).

I will be watching this post, because I’m looking for some singletrack routes on Dartmoor for when Im in the area next.
