Got a large On One Carbon 456 in the classifieds, might split if people are interested, or swap for a gravel

Yeah ideally, I’d love to just swap out the frame. That’s it – more trail than enduro. Maybe it is the build, but the wheels feel light and its Pikes with E13, SRAM guide, and Race Face etc, not the top build, maybe the first rung on the carbon bikes.

Good point, I forgot the main issue in my post. Its not a light bike, the carbon frame is actually quite heavy and solid, by tapping it sounds thick. And I notice the weight when riding. It seems inefficient. Otherwise I wouldn’t mind being overbiked. Then when I see people clearing huge road gaps on a Jeffsy, I realise why it was built heavy.

I’d like one for this too, it would be nice to have a light and cam combined, so as to only have to keep one thing charged, but Fly is expensive…

I thought it was the name of a new On One steel frame

You should keep it off the road until you drive to the MOT appointment. Then as sson as you have an MOT, get it taxed.

DVLA enforce car tax with ANPR, I see cars clamped and stickered frequently.

This should be your main concern.

What’s a Carbon 456 worth by the way? I’ve got one with 140mm dual air revs, SLX and some nice strong wheels. Should I split it? I need rid for sure.

I had the main pedal shaft/axle snap on an egg beater, leaving a sharp “shank” sticking out of my crank. I was on my road bike, and wondered how my foot was on the ground, yet I was still clipped in.

Worth trying one, they are a “race geometry” frame, so there is quite a stretch to the bars. I’m 6 foot 1, and large is good for me

Yeah, sorry to inform but broken boiler isn’t normally classed as an emergency, I used to work for a local authority housing department. But it should be fixed in reasonable time, if it isnt , get it in writing in asap

Nothinbg to do with “their” policy. Statutory rights always mean more, ie laws of the country, in this case Sales of Good Act. A product should be fit for purpose, you have up to 7 years to decide if the product is fit for purpose, taking into account how much was paid.
