I would have thought it would be fine. the forest Road round the bottom is well maintained and the rest is sloped I haven’t found it particularly muddy recently. Just in a few spots here and there.
Hood Rats is an awsome trail BTW. Whoever built it knows their stuff.

I moved to Thirsk Last year and I’m still exploring the area but Yearsley is one of my favourite spots. Check the Traiforks Heat-maps round Hood Hill. There’s quite a lot going on there.

You’re very right. I should have mentioned that actually. My wife is a physio and looked into that before she started jogging with him.
I still call Ted the new dog but we’ve actually had him two years now. The Covid years have just vanished!

I know the trail dog thing is a bit contentious but I wouldn’t take him to Dalby or anything like that, That’s asking for trouble.
But sometimes I get up a six in the morning and go to the woods where we’ve got some good trails. We didn’t see another soul until we got back to to the car park today.
He also has fantastic recall compared to any of my previous dogs and he’s got a predisposition to staying very close. in fact I doubt I would have attempted it with any of my previous dogs.

We started off down the forest road and I think that would be too fast for an extended period but as soon as we turn onto the trails its slow going, I don’t think he’s going to have any issue with that.

I swear by Germolene New Skin if you can get to a chemist/supermarket.

I read On the Beach a couple of years ago and it has stayed with me I have to say.

Used to wear snickers but found the baggy pockets with 45 degree openings were designed to empty their contents down the sides of the car/van seats. So I switched to Scruffs and Dickies.

Mould spores in the air make a nasty smell in my cellar; but I wouldnt describe it as overpowering or meaty, more like wet rotting newspaper.
I have a pair of duct fans that swap the air with fresh air from outside in my cellar now. THey’re on a timer so they run at certain times when the ouside temperature isnt too cold. That seems to work well. But you need to kow the source of the smell!

My Kids are 6 and 7 now and on bigger bikes but I found secondhand Ridgeback MX bikes on ebay for buttons (before covid).
MX14 MX16 MX18. they worked really well for us.

Years ago we had a VW van that couldn’t be started on the drive. It had a jammed startermotor. We’d taken the battery off to charge and left it unlocked.
Someone had tried to steal it by cutting a seat belt to use as a tow rope and tried to bump start it down the road unsuccessfully. We found it a few streets away the next morning.
Strangest thing was they’d left a half eaten pot of coleslaw on the dashboard.

We took a wheel off after that.

Current must be measured in circuit. voltage accross a circuit. I.e. when you measure current, the meter completes the circuit. Are you using it like that?

Was thinking of somthing similar recently. Why does the Shimano have the extra 3mm on the 200? and does this mean you Can’t use a generic +40 adapter?
