How about the 2Souls QuarterHorse? Not sure if it would take a 27.5+ rear wheel but there should be someone on here who would know.

Good thought Alan, however I think if I want a Quarterhorse I may have sell the house & get a Ti one!

Thanks Alan,I think that will make it a bit too burly a frame for me.Five to five & a quarter would be the heaviest I would go for.

Yes,used their cables on a 9 speed grip shift & a dropper seat post.both became smoother & lighter in operation.Recommended.

Hi BHD,start from where you are,if you like ,are addicted to the internet, use it to your advantage.Watch things like the TED lectures. The brain is very plastic so it can be moulded. The direction really is up to you.

It is difficult to give effective advise knowing so little about you or your circumstances.however you could try spending your money on people ,not things.
It does not have to be charities. You could employ a cleaner,a personal trainer,or a life skills coach to help you with goals you wish to achieve. This type of thinking helps put money back into your community & provide jobs.
Also buy good food from local suppliers, even organic if that is not too controversial for STW.
Good luck with this enquirey,it is the start of true maturity.
    Cheers

Did you weigh the frame.I tried asking 2 Souls. However although they were happy to tell me the difference in weight between frames,I could not get any info on the actual weight of a Quarterhorse.

Hi DKR,you really need to get this injury accurately diagnosed.Since it was an overarm action that caused it, & from the description of the pain,it is very likely to be a rotator cuff injury (I am not a doctor). The treatment will be different to a frozen shoulder. If it is the rotator cuff do not be tempted to MTFU & ignore it (personal experience).
    Good luck with the recovery.

If you enjoy riding a hardtail more than a full suss, how about giving a suspension seat a try after the op?
There must be loads of people on STW who could give you advice on the best one.
The others will try to sell you theirs!

Hi OP,just in case no one else has pointed this out,you are in a market place,so check out the “opposition”.If I wanted a Ti 29er I would buy a new Titus Fireline £700.If 650B it would be a Kingdom Bike Vendetta 2 £999.Basically you are asking too much. You will have to drop your asking price,or build it up & enjoy it.Good luck either way.

A safer bet would be to see if your company will let you go part time.
Mine did ,it was a great 7 years, although it did reduce the works pension a bit,as I went for 3 days a week.

Oops sorry just seen you dont want 650 wheels so kingdom bike is out.
However another brilliant suggestion would be to look at Travers Bikes. They make loverly looking Ti frames, about £1250 if memory serves.

Sorry to throw another name into the pot ,but have you looked at Kindom bike?
Ti frames with the sort of geo. you want. The Vendetta2 is £999.
They will also customize the angles ect if required.

Set my hardtail up with rigid forks about a month ago, cannot understand why I ever bothered with suspension. That reminds me,must put the racerx frame up for sale. Its good to know other people feel the same.

A rather “spendy” solution would be to send the frame back to Nicolai to have a new header tube fitted. This would save future hassle, but depends on how long you intend to keep the frame.
