PS Virgin sim only also good – unlimited everything on 30 day contract is 16 quid a month.

With guards adjusted properly have managed to get 28mm tyres and guards on mine if it helps.

6’4. It would probably do 6’1 ish and up. With a longer stem could prob to 6’5 ish too.

I can get measurements of frame if you want – it’s a Borghini frame with full guards, 105 and open pro handbuilts on novatec hubs.

Majorca good – pollensa or there abouts easy access to hills and the roads are in excellent condition – mostly!

Lots of other cyclists out there too – 26 bikes on flight last time I went!!

Rose dx cross looks good but looks v short in the top tube?

Just got a touring plus. Very, very good.

The one very useful feature is the ride generator – type in how far you want to ride and it generates three random routes – took me on a great route locally which had never done before.

Maps are excellent and directions easy to follow.

Much prefer to the 500 it replaced.

Hora – been done once by main dealer. Since rules changed on warranties done by independent cheapie garage ever since.

They are good guys!

Have a focus 1.6tdci and yes the turbo went (renowned problem).

It cost 1000 quid to sort.

That said have had the car six years and done 120k miles so far and (touch wood!) apart from servicing that is only expense.

It is thus still a relative bargain in terms of value for money…

Get in touch with Tri4thealps- did ten days with them last year.

They may be happy for you to tag along on some guided rides and the pace is good (there were two pro triathletes out there last year – look up Brad Kahlefeldt – he can ride a bit!)

The avoriaz via montriand loop is good but only about 80 mins even without killing it.

Joux plan from sameons is good.

Down to lake geneva and round the lake is good (although circa 160 miles without a lift back!)

Ride over to flaine and up that climb is good.

You’ll have an awesome time – roads are amazing.

Tri4thealps good. Did 10 days road riding with them last year, massive amounts of hills. In morzine so easy transfer from geneva.

Did 850 miles in 10 days and over 50000ft of climbing.(one ride was plan flat around lake geneva).

Majorca just go to pollensa – few groups ride out of there every day and there are good maps of roads on Island so fairly easy.

Majorca weather better at mo I guess. You can start climbing ten mins from pollensa and get a lot in over the tramantua mountains.

May be wrong but would say the potential for carnage on the strines road descending Eden bank is very high. Time will tell.

Did the Minotaur at C-Y-B at the weekend with the Mrs who is a relative newbie (been out 5 times ever).

She loved it – did it several times and got faster and faster – great confidence builder.

Also did penmachno which was excellent in parts – one or two bits less flowy for a newbie but she enjoyed the views etc.

Would also second Dalby – not that technical and a really good day out with great views and nice riding.

Would second above – DHB slice is excellent, have done up to 30 miles each way with it. I also have a gourdon and think the slice is more comfortable to ride with and more useful pockets etc.

Not waterproof but drysac for laptop sorts that

DHB slice. Great pack for the money and really well thought out. Sits low so no helmet issues and really comfy even doing 30 miles plus on road bike with laptop etc in it.
