    I went with these guys
    http://www.tarifamax.net/
    Very very impressed.
3 day course with the missus and one instruction.
They sorted a room in the home of one of the instructors.
Just about getting up by the end of it.
I could have stayed for the est of the summer.
Lots of yoga and stuff to do if the girlfriend is not too keen.
Or get a bus to one of the cities in Andalucia..

[/quote]never heard anything to justify spending more. As mentioned the room makes a huge difference.

Fancy some quad 33/303’s one of these days.
Maybe some big speakers to preserve the 35’s

    Steady the buffs…

Well thats not to stop me lusting after something that was the dogs dangleys and unobtainable back in the day.

Just need a big lounge to justify the grunt on a beefy set up..

    I made it back.
    Train was great.
Would have been nearly double the price we paid to travel at peak times, but luckily with the snow they took our off peak tickets so we got there in decent time.
    I like trains.
Car still here with half a foot of snow on.
Lets hope Gatwick is working tomorrow.

Marantz CD52 mk2 SE – bought when I was at uni many moons ago
Arcam 6 integrated amp – thanks John-L – still going strong
Revo wifi radio – for millions of channels – very cool and works well, I just never use it
BBC LS 3/5a speakers – made by my Dad many many years ago when he worked there – still sublime,,

    Just bought these
DT880 – always fancied them and we had a pair when I was a kid

Always been semi into hi-fi as my Dad was in the business, but never heard anything to justify spending more. As mentioned the room makes a huge difference.

Oh and buy the way quad used to wire their demonstration speakers with mains cable, and laugh at anyone who suggested there was a difference.

Decision made. Train it is. As njee says easy journey, just 4 times the ost for the pair of us.
    Still, best to be safe.

    Not convinced here.
No one told me it was a musical.
Apart from the daughter, i thought none of them could sing.

Very true. Not a date after 5 years or so. Left it a bit late at 38. My dad always told me he was a good skater, so we will see.

Any machine shop would be able to do this.
Just walk in and speak to someone, if not them they would be sure to recommend somewhere.

Still riding crazy long stems here.
130mm on my marin hardtail with short straight bars – old school
130mm on my SS 29er – coupled with jones bars so feels a lot shorter
120m on my cross bike and road bike
130mm on my old road bike
90mm on my hemlock – and still struggling to be happy with that so short.

If anyone has come across a cheap belt tension checker let me know.
I understand you have to tension these things quite a bit..

Just send my peregrine to Ben at kinetics today to have an s and s coupling fitted in the seat stay to allow a belt.
I bought the belt and chainring off the classifieds, and sourced an alfine sprocket from ebay.
    Hopefully it should all work.

I had one where my car was hit unattended on the street.
Someone – I do not know whom left a reg under the windscreen.
I contacted police- they said not interested.
Insurance company tried to follow up, to be told that the car in question had no knowledge of such a collision.
However it seems they were claiming for damage to their car through a parking accident.
I did consider getting address and popping round, but not really my style.
Anyway it went no where, and I was left with a big dent.
That is why I have crappy cars, as I have to park them on the street..

My sidis are too big for me, but I can still get away with the cleat position, as it allows quite a degree of leeway..

Mate had the same issue on a £3k gios he bought – he grumbled.
Another guy bought a similar bike, and i pointed out the rear road brake hole was drilled off centre. Always something to spot when you spend big money..

    Jerome

Get the drill out. Pilot hole to start then drill the bolt through.
    Use drill bits for metal..
