I had a mobdeo tdci that made if to 180k having avoided all the issues that were supposed to be common , in the end an injector went which would have been fixable but whole car was tired . I bought another at 132k and spent few mobths panicking it was going to blow up , but 14 months in and still going sweet. ( there I said it and jinked it )

    Thanks guys.
Lots of things for me to investigate.
It is not my garage/ on my property so the solar thing may not be ideal, but will try and make it work as that seems the best solution.

You will gett used to toe overlap very quickly. It is a neccassity on a bike that small. Enjoy it ..

Was talking to the lady who sits on the front desk of our office about rhis. She has to leave the news on all day. She was getting upset by all the bad news, to the point it was starting to really get her down. Not good..

    Bottom braket ok ??
If so just leave it on there.
    Change rings if required.
The lbs may be able to get it off with a better tool.

I was lucky in buying an IF that was an exact copy of the on one 29er it replaced.
To be honest i would feel a bit nervous about a custom build.
And yes i emailed IF and indeed the original rider details matched me.
    Happy days….

Still love bikes, but love boats and sailing about equal. Get another sport while you like cycling to make sure you keep the love.

Was there earlier in the year. Consider flying into Oslo and out if Bergen as the train between the two is awesome . Gives you the option also of getting off half way between and finishing trip on the fjord .

I spent three month driving round nz in a mk 3 2000e in 1999. Awesome car and great ondition having been owned by an old boy. Proper driveable and lots of fun on the dirt tracks. New prop shaft was the only thing we needed. My dad had a mk3 in about 1980 and ours was in much better condition then his. Goodwork fella..

I thought the tensioner pushing up was the preferred route.
Might need to reverse the sprinf inside.
And indeed looks as though you could lose a link.
Or work out the magic gear.
I have single speeded for years on magic gears..

i hav a small collection of vintage wtches . £1k will get you a lovely watch, and is a great pressie. Have a really good look around and decide what you like. Sports vs dress watch, New or vintage etc . If you are near london go to burlington arcade and have a looksie at the vintage stuff, and surrounding shops for new stuff. Decide what you fancy, and then go looking. If it was me i would get a 2nd hand vintage speedmaster. You should be able to get one for just over £1k from the bay, but you need someone to help you source it. I sold a 1972 speedy for £1k about a year ago to a mate. Have a think and e mail me if you have any specific questions ?? If you like new watches – look at Nomos, very well regarded and classic styling..

I have just had 10 days in Norway.
About 76 NOK for a point, or £9.
I did not have many of those, but we did drink our duty free allowance.
Even with the high tax, and tight controls ( wine and spirits can only be bought from government owned monopoly of shops )Norway still has its fair share of drink problems.
