Did three months 10 years ago.
Bolivia, peru and ecuador in that order
    That was enough.
But obvious extension would be chile and then argentina.
We took tents and did as much walking as we could which was best part for me.
I always like having an expedition as part of a long trip.
I walked up cotopaxi with a guide, while my mate had the squits.
Sorata for mtb and ride the longest descent in world in bolivia ?
Can echo a lot of suggestions of must does as abive –
Having a delayed xmas day with inlaws but can send something longer when i get to a proper computer.
Get learning spanish is number one suggestion, or go to spanish school when you get there as a starter.
I did in a placed called sucre.
Happy to chat on phone as needed.
But my info is 10 years old..
I had similar questions and posted on outdoormagic forum, does that still exist ?
    Cheers

Ok let me know if anyone has as much success as my other half. Hiya john , can you work out what the active ingredient is and find that in a product. First time i have ever felt the need to recommend a health product, but amazing results for my other half when nothing else had worked..

    Lovely watches.
Tried on a few times, but too chunky for my wrists.
New omega railmaster is justout and similar. I would be waiting to see whether these railmaster become discounted, if they do then you could be paying half the price of the milgauss..

Another vote for not doing the upper laces up tight. Just get the lower ones tight ish so your heal does not lift up..

I am in procurement, responsible for energy and facilities, for a European retailer.
Developing a niche is my recommendation.
I was an energy consultant for 10 years, before moving to procurement as was bored.
So no real training in procurement, but picked up a lot from colleagues.
Procurement is interesting , and that is coming from me with short attention span.
Lots of different challenges day to day.
Just spend three months developing a new led future for all our stores.
Think about what is your passion/ area of interest and consider that for bit, before switching to procurement.
Guess I am a bit green at heart, and want to reduce energy usage..
Professional services is a high demand area, and was my previous role.
All of the big consulting groups have procurement functions, so if your grades are great then look at their graduate programs..
I have worked for a few companies and the procurement people have been well respected, in contrast to some of the comments above.
Drops me a note if you have any ??

If you want to spend more look for the Nikon with high definition back screen that also swivels….

I had same dilemma recently. My missus requested same for our recent big holiday. I got a second hand Nikon d3100 with kit lens , which was a mid size zoom. Cost me less than £200 and was basically unused. Super light, super good pictures and video, missus was super happy . Pictures look great on the laptop. Latest gen is 3300 but another few hundred or so, and was not a lot different. I used to have some nice slr lenses, but refused to carry them and never used them.

    Lovely as ever.
    Thanks for sharing your journey.
Saves me a lot of money from having to do similar.
Your bikes always look perfect, especially so given they are all my size.
Every time you have sold something, I have had to resist buying something I would not get enough use of to justify.
Now about that Jones space frame of yours…

Smashed rear window of my Audi 80 and a good pair of boots nicked. They tried to get into boot for a dirty inbred but it was a saloon so no access from inside car. More annoying than anything ..

    Mr Alpha,
Thanks for offer, but going to have a good look at my revs and try the tips above on air pressures – before I start spending ££’s.
After consideration as an xc jey boy 130 mm should really be enough for me.
My revs are dual air with red bit on bottom and two twisty knobs on the top leg I think.
Just need to work out how to set them up I think..

Currently 130 revs u turns that seem to dive too much and also have a clonk. Figuring a service will be £100. Might open them myself and have a look.

150mm seems to be recommended for frame. Currently has 130mm forks which need a good service .
Thanks for input , merlot visit been vetoed , off for walk around nab instead ..

Thinking new , or as new 2nd hand, as do not want to have an expensive service . 15mm would mean new wheel and trying to keep cheapest as do not ride that much.
Tyre was a Conti explorer , which I have been running for years as used to live South Downs .

Currently sitting in Whaley at the in laws so may take a trip to merlin as only 12 miles away and I have never been there..
