I’m on a prima 38 and love the windy days .
But to be foiling at these speeds, must be incredible..
One day maybe if the technology ever drips down..

Going to be interesting on the first race. As a current bowman , would love to see more of this.

Yep there is a bit closed, but did not bother me . I did the red and rode maybe 2hours 30 . I meant to do the upper purple loop but must have missed the signs , or now I think of it maybe that bit was closed also . Not sure . Worth a ride though , abs close enough if you are super keen to do Marin also ..

Quick bump as rode this trail on Saturday . Super impressed . I was not fit enough to really do it justice , but will be back fitter and stronger . Well done to the team behind this and donation gratefully made .

I like binoculars . Not sure why , but from being a kid I thought they were magic in some way. Got two pairs some Swiss zenoptem and some Swarovski . First was a £100 or so , second a bit more . Both have amazing optics , but looking old and a bit battered , especially the Swarovski . Maybe not what the op wanted , but for anyone who law fancying a pair , this might be the way to go..

Surely buy another fridge freezer to put the food in while you defrost this one ..

Seriously a defrosting is what you need as ice forms on the condenser I think and makes it inefficient ..

    1. Is it a split race with a cut in it ? If not then you may need a bit of coke shim, assuming you are pushing to bottom etc
    2. Had that also . Tried using fork steerer to lever out ?
    3. Hit it harder . I used to use a big screw driver , even on posh bikes , then bought the tool .

You will be fine . We did this in Norway a few years ago , only issue was my other half was much better than me . My tip is get shoes / boots that fit . I was not paying attention when we got the hire kit and ended up with boots far too loose , which did not help my control issues going downhill ..

We went to bansko twice as had free accommodation . As others have said , not comparable to alps, and I would not risk it at Xmas as too early . But we lucked out with good snow , my skiing is pretty average , and we enjoyed a nice and relaxing holiday with lots of cheap one to one lessons with English instructors. Skied last two Xmas in France, which was great . Not sure will be back to bulgaria ..

    Internal gear cables ?
I would probably try a new rear gear cable as a starter , if you are sure chain is not too long ..

I had a chap hammer his breaks on at green lights and I gave him a big bump . Was most surprised to find him extremely apologetic , and we were both driving pretty old cars , so nothing else was said..

I was at lake hall – 25 years ago . Wow that went quick . Prob 5 years ago we had a beer at whatever it is now called , and all seemed similar . Felt the best of the bunch to me at the time, but anywhere near the vale should do it .. I looked at the halls when I did my visit to the campus ..

I had a pair as a kid I loved. Then I realised how good quality ones were . Got a pair of Swarovski habicht and a pair of Zeiss jenoptens . Both pretty cheap and cooo things . Very close to buying a pair of canon is ones that a friend recommended , but they were a different price point ..

On the basis Crawley is 10 mins drive from Gatwick be very strange coincidence if this is a case of a mis-read number.

Be interesting to see the outcome .

Okay sounds like no TV program then. Which is fine by me, as I very much like the unsupported nature of it.

On my bucket list to do, whether to race ( start with others ) or tour more slowly is the only decision.

Gdansk another vote. Was there last week in the city ( lovely/ amazing old town ) then out to a place called Sopot which is 20 mins out of town on the coast, and very cool and cheap. Do not drink too much vodka..

I decided i was drinking a bit too much, bottle of wine between two most night.
Decided to read an alan carr book.
Allen Carr’s Easyway to Control Alcohol by Allen Carr.
Found myself giving up for quite a few months, and drink less now.
Read the book, very empowering ..

We were mayrhofen 23 to 30 dec just gone. Meant to go zillertal but was dodgy day when we planned to visit. Awesome conditions though and super sunny as you say. Hoping to be there next year..

I did this around ten years ago with gelenmore lodge and could not rate them more highly . We were lucky with conditions . Lady instructor was great , level was just right and conditions and scenergy were perfect . I wore a borrowed pair of Plastic boots for the week , which they lent me . Woukd do it in scarpa mantas if I did again , as super stiff plastic boots were overkill as nothing was too steep . Point five gully was the steepest climb we did .
