Conti sport contact have been on my cars for the last few years.
Load of grip, but they do wear quite quickly.
Seem cheap tome compared to anything biking.
I will put four new ones on soon, as lack of tread in the rain is what is most dangerous.

Don’t take their first offer is the obvious advise.
I would be after 6 months wages or so as an opening negotiation starter.

I think the record on a recumbent is 85 mph and I can understand the thinking ref shoulders first.
Assuming he can get the power down, he will probably smash the 100 mph..

    Unlucky bud.
I opened up my shin a few years back on my pedal I think in a similar speed crash.
Cannot hold a candle top that though.
    Singlespeed would surely have helped..

Be interesting to know what the specifics of the accidents are,as this may prevent further injuries and possibly lead to adjustments to the circuit to make it safer for all. These are after all bike centres and while I am all for a take care of yourself mentally, we have to be realistic about the people that use these, and indeed the negative press being generated here for the sport as a whole.

I rode there recently. Two laps of the big course on a horrible day. Loved it, especially the rocky nature of the climbs. Hully Gully seemed tame, it was the bit after that with the rooty drop offs that had me walking as I could not see how deep the puddles were, and I was very much on my own that day…

I am currently running some old lx cranks with a new middle ring bolted to the outside.

Ring should almost always be in middle position on cranks.

Get a singlespeed specific wheel with a frewheel cog when you can ( assume you have singlespeeded a cassette hub ) as these are less prone to issues imho.

I have been working in Paris a lot in the last few months, and generally stay just around the corner from your hotel.
I normally eat here, and take my missus there when she comes out.

Food is pretty good, but I am sure not the very best you can get in Paris.
Main thing is the price. The set menu includes drinks etc, and is a blooming bargain. You get a choice of half a dozen or so alternate starters/main/ deserts. Half a bottle of plonk each, and a champgane thing to start. I am pretty sure the menu is available all week.
    Oysters to start sir ??
Then walk to the bar around the corner, with the pinball tables, and have a large leffe.
Let me know how you get on.
Louvre is a must see. Free on every first Sunday or something like that..

My dad bought a new focus last year, and was invited down yesterday to test drive this 1.0 litre thing.
He was very impressed, and even rang me to tell so.
As a bit of history my old man’s background is bigger torquey diesel cars, I have his 2.0 tdi mondeo now.
He told the ford chap who took him out, he would leave it another year to see if there were any problems with them..
Get thee down there and test drive.

T M Levin are some of the best high street for reasonable price.
I have big legs and can fit in these.
My recommendation is Copperfields in London.
    http://www.allinlondon.co.uk/directory/1188/27506.php
You are prob looking £350 or so with two pairs of trousers but lovely suits and altered to fit on the premises for free.
Try a few high street places before going there and decide..
Indeed if you want to get a good selection go to the city as all the shops are in the business district within a mile square..

Fair comment shep, but it seems to be the stemplate that is stopping my bars from not fitting.

    Just ask them.
But do not lie, as often they can only match if you send them a copy of the new quote.
Or in the case of where there is an offer from admiral sometimes I think the incumbent insureer would actually log on and look themselves.
Give Chris Knott insurance a ring, just done mine and they were cheapest.

you didn’t mention how they were busted?
I am guessing they have been overworked and the drivers have burnt out ??
I will get my man on the job to identify the problem.
I think one of the tweeters may be dodgy aswell, and to top off some of the laminate has come off the box.
    In truth not pretty..
