Thanks again, If anyoe gives a toss, I had an interview on Friday and had a very nice offer before I even got home (massive ego boost!!), so i'm going to have an informal chat with my current boss, but think I'm probably going to accept the offer :-)

I've been wondering why there are women’s only gyms available (as an environment where women can exercise and relax without the pressure etc from men), but men’s only clubs are now banned and have to allow women to join (surely a men’s club is offering an environment where women can exercise and relax without the pressure etc from men women)?!

Thanks geetee, that makes alot of sence.

If you have a good relationship with your boss, why don’t you talk to him/her about the issues you have with the company.

We're a very small team in a second office and look after ourselves so tend to disscuss the issues that affect us. My main problems with my current company are all HR related and can't be changed (working times & conditions, T&C's and benefits).

I don't expect the grass to be greener, but do think I can get better so will see what happens (and at the end of the day at least I have a job!).

    Thanks all :-)

That's pretty much what I thought, but will still feel a bit like I’m letting down my colleagues!!

hels & deadlydarcy, the first thing anyone I work with will know about me looking at other jobs will be the day I hand in my notice

Tennis Girl taken 1976 Fiona Butler was 18 when taken!

Now 52, but who really cares, in the pic she's 18 and she had a cracking arse (excuse the pun) which is all that matters to me

Wills and Harry must have had quite some M'ing-TFU to do when they got to Sandhurst…

Why? I always thought that, for many, Sandhurst was just a continuation of the public school system

I had an irrational fear of wolves and can still remember a couple of the nightmares -like the one where our dog walked into the washing machine and came out as a wolf and bit me!!!

Is that requirement met more by things like the Subaru Forrester, Audi A6 Allroad etc?

I'm considering the Forrester, along with the Land Rover Discovery and Freelander II, Mitsubishi Outlander and Shogun and several others, but just wanted to find out what the score is with the Range Rovers. :)

Thanks everone, I'm considering it (along with all the rest) as I want a car that's comfortable on the road, but that's also capable of getting off road (I do a fair bit of shooting and am fed up with having to park miles away and trudge through mud, only to suffer the embarrassment of getting back to the car and still having to ask for a tow!! I also visit quite a few sites for work where a bit of extra ground clearance would be more than useful).

I'd love a Land Rover Defender but it just wouldn't be practical for the motorway driving I do :(

So far you seem to be all mouth and no trousers, you do alot of talking and hyping yourself up, but thus far we've seen little evidence that you've done anything other than wasting your time trolling on a mtb forum.

Please prove me wrong and write a blinder, but stop talking about it and just get on and do it.

Why am I actually trying to argue with the self-riteous tw*t? He obviously doesn't really want our charity, but just wants us to pay him some attention and we've fallen for it again

which is why i said 'send stuff'. stuff that has virtually no value but to the end user.

Just like the plastic bags I get through my front door from age concern et al daily for all my "unwanted clothes", your not the only person asking for worthless stuff but some of the others say please and thank you and have a little more credibility!

Ro, for someone who's asking for help you seem to be doing it in a rather odd way. I don't know if it's that you've been surrounded by corruption for too long, or whether your just an arse (as suggested by many), but you really should try to remember your manners.

I don't know how often you get back to the UK, but here we are constantly bombarded by sob-stories and offers to improve the lives of those worse off than ourselves. If I gave "just £2 a month" to every charity that asked for it on the TV I'd have F-all left at the end of the month to pay my bills or feed my own family! In order to cope we have to develop a thick skin to it all, this (along with your previous posts) is why we don't seem to give much of a shit about it, If you want us to care (which you obviously do as you started this thread) you need to persuade us to care, if that's too much hassle for you then it can't be that important!!

    (This is just my opinion)

We've got a Mazda 6 and it's great, but if I was in your possition I'd probably be looking at the Alpha 159 Sportback and remember that as a company car it's not your pocket that gets emptied if it goes wrong!

We've not had a number on our house for about 2 years (we replaced the door and I've not got around to replacing the number yet, I might do it this wk-end, or not!).

We live in a small cul-de-sac and no-one has trouble finding us (look at next door and add 2!)
