Yes it’s the car specific kit, but the pictures show one bolt being removed and the other moved to the middle hole, and then shows that if two blots are used they need to be 4Nm, but if one is used it should be 6Nm!

If pedo-meters were any good they’d have caught Jimmy Savile before he died 🙄

Having watched Closer to the Edge the other night, I just hope he doesn’t feel the need to tell us any more about his self pleasuring!

It depends on the prices (which I can’t be bothered to find), but I’d probably go for the Pedros as it has more tools and a less ‘gimmicky’ looking box, which (in my experience) means it’s less likely to break. I have a mix of tools and the pedros stuff seems just as good as the Park (in my limited opinion), but is cheaper.

I would get a tool kit that has room for other tools as well.

+1 as whichever you go for there will be additional specialist tools you’ll want/need in the future.

    does EK-1 haver cable cutters?

There are some shown in the picture (above tape measure / chain splitter).

It’s a nice little vid (and much much better than anything I could do), but for me slow-mo needs to be used to show the detail in a piece of footage that would otherwise just be a blur. I think it works best when used among some really fast footage which gives an idea of how reality looks, before the slow-mo cleans up the details and (in the case of mountain biking) shows off the skill of the rider/ability of the kit.

2, in the UK. An autumn of discontent eh.

Actually it’s 3 in the UK as the RM strike is still in the news! I was just saying that I’ve noticed strikes being mentioned in what feels like every news bulletin on the radio recently, but either way I wasn’t saying it’s a problem, I was just asking whether strike action works (and now I think about it, what is the real long term objective of strike action?)

Oh go on, tell us about all the many many strikes that have been in the news?

Just from the last two days on the BBC website:

    Fire Brigade

    University Staff

    Royal Mail (although cancelled)

    Indonesians

    French Wendy-ballists

maccruiskeen, I agree that there are only certain professions that can strike effectively (and shit is it really that long since the last fire brigade strike, doesn’t time fly 😯 ), but has strike action ever resulted in any long term benefit to the strikers?

How used to his current name is he (does he answer to it etc), as it may be confusing/difficult for him to get used to a new name?

    How about Bomber?

We went a few years ago and IMO if you’re sensible (so leave the unnecessary expensive stuff behind) and keep your wits about you when in busy areas you’ll be fine.

I tend to be a little paranoid and so only take what I may need that day (and leave all other cash and cards in the hotel safe) and ensure I have a few notes and coins handy for buying drinks etc which means I don’t need to get my wallet out too often (and if it is nicked I still have some money to get back to hotel etc).

Yeah, tried that. Called the local concept store but was told it was a no go.

In that case, unless you can find an American (or wherever else you can find it) shop that can get it and are willing to ship it, I think you might need a biking holiday!

….or maybe some people like things you don’t….?

What? No, never! Although the point I was trying to make (badly) is that people have been complaining about F1 being boring and needing to change since before I got bored and stopped watching it properly in the late 90s and yet there are still a lot of people who enjoy it!

F1 seems to be a mess right now

    FIFY!

it needs sorted ASAP to make it with watching again.

Why? Its not been worth watching for years and yet a lot of people still tune in for every race!

I love the way he’s obviously in such a hurry to get where he’s going that he jumps the red light, but then comes back to have a go because he was called an idiot (which he wasn’t as the guy said don’t be an idiot and not your an idiot) 🙄

I enjoyed the program and was very impressed by the chaps drive, skill and determination, but I do have to wonder why he insisted in building using cob, surely all he’s done is show why no other bugger uses it anymore!

I’m sure it will be a fantastic when it’s complete, but I’m also sure that the same building could be built faster and cheaper using an alternative building material.

I took some organic Clarkes pads out to the Alps a few years ago and they made my crap Avid brakes even worse (all noise and no power), others (with different brakes) were happy with Clarkes pads, so I think it may depend on what brakes you have!

EDIT: sorry this isn’t very useful!

Nothing from FB (but that’s probably because no-one has complained about it), but quite a lot from friends!
