What I’d recommend is extending the ring, so 2 new cables to the new socket. Using wagos, placed in a wago box you can then fill over the joint as it’s maintenance free. As long as everything is still in the zones, that is. If it puts anything out the zones, I’d connect up the same way but put a blank over.

You can have one un fused spur from each socket on the ring, so if you needed to, you could run one spur from each house socket that’s against the garage. Or a fcu then as many as you want, but that’ll limit you to (allegedly) 13A. Radial’s the way to go.

Sparky here, you really need to find the light fitting where everything meets, it’ll make sense to you then.

This is why I wire everything at the switch, stupid idea to have everything in some random light fitting, or worse; a hidden junction box with screw connections.

I’ve been running an e-golf for 9000 miles and it’s a wonderful thing. Truly the future for transport. However, it’s not for everyone yet. You need to be savvy with a phone if you want to do a long journey easily, the public chargers are split amongst companies, some needing a card, some an app. Half the time the chargers aren’t working.

The cars are already there imo, but the infrastructure is very poor

    Ey up,

I’m an electrician and there’s some good advice above. Get an electrician in. For £30-60 it’ll be done properly and safely and tested/proven to be so.

Any work done without a little bit of testing is guesswork and not worth doing.

All hail the thought police! Must be lovely to have enough time on your hands to be able to spend it getting offended by words on the internet. I say we just censor the entire thing and enforce lobotomies for anybody who upsets anyone, ever.

People forget Hitler loved a good book burning.

I am very much All The Gear No Idea. Got a lovely Cruz (obviously) that I can barely ride, never mind ride to it’s potential. Thing is, I enjoyed speccing it, building it and dare I say just looking at it, never mind mincing around on the thing, falling off at the slightest hint of a drop or root. I’ve been told I’m AGNI before and I’m quite happy to agree, I’d be just as shit on a cheap bike, may as well fall off something I enjoy owning.

Did my first race this morning after a week on zwift and not riding since last august. Was pleasentlp surprised when despite being dropped into TTing 4 out of 5 laps I got upgraded to C. This stuff is addictive isn’t it?

I don’t have one, don’t really feel the need for one but i think they’re fantastic.

Ride further for the same effort: awesome.

I can’t find out the exact brand, but there’s many, many being sold that are the same. I avoided dentist fees thankfully, but my mate thought the snapping sound was me haha, think it scared him more than me.

Haha, look after the pennies and the pounds.. buy you a 5010. I did a lot of reading before buying them and people were having no issues with the same bars, guess they’re just not as radcore as me. But no, I don’t need to be told again, I’m a bad boy. Thanks for the recommendations, I’ll look them all up.

I think they’re taking the mick out of the attitude some of the west have; that these people are coming over for a holiday, not to escape cruel hardships. Remember all those newspaper stories about how refugees are coming here for the luxuries (like, er a theme park for example)? They’re mocking US not the tragic child.

To say we should learn our lessons from terrorists and change how we act is a little retarded and more than a little un-English, if I may say so. Up Charlie! And may we all think a little harder before choosing to be offended.

Smashed mine a while ago, was out camping in a couple of days. Back driving after a week and back on the building site after 2. They’ll tell you 6 weeks plus but they base all their timings on frail OAPs I’m sure. No lasting pain, though I do have a very bulgey shoulder now.

    Good luck!

Don’t want to be accused of advertising for Jack (Granary Cycles) but I bought my frame and forks from him and couldn’t be happier. Brand new carbon 5010 frame with factory warranty for just over half RRP. Communication was good and now I’m only waiting for 11spd XT to be released before I can get out on it.

Little wax coated torpedo shaped pills up my bum for a few weeks. About 2″ long, 1/2″ diameter. Wasn’t a problem except my poo wax wax coated for a while.

I’ve been for the same issue. Mine were internal and involved a big glass probe up the bum so she could look down it. I think it was about the size of a 2l bottle of coke, felt like it anyway. I’ll not easily embarrassed and wasn’t then, but the important thing is they cured it and now it’s not a problem. Quickly too.

Get yourself there and get it sorted, id totally forgotten it had ever been a problem until reading this, you can be like that too.

Jesus, what’s with the people telling other riders what they do and don’t need, should and shouldn’t wear etc. I always thought stw was a socialist place, but I see its full of fascists.

I have a Clio 172 cup, it’s a little short of power on track, 50bhp more would make it better but it’s a little too fast for the road, pushing it to it’s potential around corners on the road is suicidal.

I also have an old mini van running 80bhp and it’s great on the road, full throttle everywhere and you never get in trouble. You can really extract everything it’s got and for me that’s where the fun is.

Despite thinking 80bhp is just right for it, I find myself building a new turbo motor for it lol.

I did mine 3 weeks ago today. On the road too, gutted. Stopped needing painkillers after about 3-4 days so don’t worry about that but mobility does suffer. Mine’s fixed itself while still poking out an inch or more, looks like someone’s inside me poking a finger through my skin. I’m gonna see if the NHS will rebreak it and make it set properly, need it to be perfect for my marines application 🙁

You’ll end up very very thankful for the internet lol, don’t know what I’d have done without it, hate being immobile. Good luck with it, chin up it’ll get better!

I went OTB the other week and broke my collar bone. Sat down to wait for the ambulance (I know, I know, I’m soft) and although I’d been toasty warm all day within 20 mins hypothermia had started to set in. I hadn’t carried anything extra with me because, well, it wasn’t a big ride, 25 mile or so and I wasn’t doing anything too scary.

Bloody glad I fell off near houses, a nice old chap brought me a blanket while I sat shivering. Just taken delivery of a camelbak from the STW classifieds and damned right I’m gonna pack a few extra things with me now, even if it’s just for a 5 miler.

I filed a slot in mine and it worked. Ordered a new set of screws and they came as star shaped holes instead of allen keys. They seem to be better
