I think Nuke Proof are bringing a head set out that does just that, 44mm headset with 1.5internal for taper or 1.5 forks.

Do you have a problem with it, I found on mine it was best to strip the EBB and give it all a good film of grease, before building it up again,

My horse who is now long gone once pinched a mars bar, we rode passed a car and the girl got out, unwrapped her mars bar, and at that point my horse stopped turned and pinched it,very embarrasing , luckily the girl found it funny, now that was a horse out of control, she always had a liking for mars bars after that, and Guiness
I’m just an ordinary person who does not have much money , mainly because of my passion for horses and my passion for mountain biking :-)

I ride horses and mountain bikes, horses have a very small brain :-), that is programmed to runaway, they don’t have disc brakes and they can be spooked by sudden noises as said if you talk or just make them aware you are coming from behind this helps, its better than them being spooked and hurting you or the rider or themselves, generally a good rule of thumb is to dismount and push our bike on the side away from the horse,if the horse is being a plonker, some horse riders can be rude as can bikers, I had a near miss with a guy on his mountain bike trundling towards me with his head down listening to his iPod, I shouted and called and stopped my horse but we had no where to go, at the last second the guy looked up and cra**ed himself. My horse had a bit of a jump around, but luckily I stopped him from bolting into the guy, and no one was hurt,
so please don’t have a go at all horse people some of us arn’t that bad. :D

I recently bought a set of Fox 32 Talas 150 RL fit forks with taper steerer brand new for half the price of normal set, and they came with a pump and a clip on sag adjuster, I must of been luck to get the extra bits, they did how ever come in a brown box. :-) and they ride great, I like the lock out.

Yep extreme cold or hot really upsets air forks and shocks, coils do give a more consistent feel IMHO, as you say I miss my coil lyrics.

The Blur LT2 climbs better than the five on technical stuff, the 5 is so much better going down hill, and for me a bike that gives you more confidence, in technical situations, I have a new 5 and I have owned a Heckler and Nomad and test rode several Blurs Lt2’s for me the 5 gives the most rewarding ride of them all, the Nomad was also a fantastic bike, which was probably more capable than the 5 but you never felt the same good feeling after the ride, it was too good for your normal trails.
I’m running my 5 with a Float 36rc2 taper fork set to 140mm, and a maxle back end, a solid ride, and so much fun. :-)

Its a good place to ride when its not snowing , it gets heavy there very quickly, so check out oneplanets web site for updates, the red and black are good fun, the new section of black is a blast, and they have just opened a new blue + section which is also good fun, the climbs are all steady , a couple of leg sapers, but all do-able, if you ride the red and black and still have time the blue route is great for a quick ride, and is underestimated for its fun factor, nothing technical but a good fast loop. Just go easy towards the end of the trail by the centre on busy summer days as it gets busy with families with young kids, as all the trails finish on the same route. There is also a new free ride area, if you like going big and a pump track and skills area, and Dylan does some great food in the cafe.
Remember to lock your bike up they can go walk about, annoying scum bags are about.

How do the springs compare to each other side by side, can you see any difference, to how they are put together, may give you a clue…

I use the v8 and V12 like them both not really noticed them being small, my v12’s feel grippier, I ride in 5-10’s size 10. :-) I prefer them to my DX30’s. Maybe time to explore other makes.

Takes me half an hour to get going, sometimes longer, most of my rides start by climbing straight away, and it always feels never ending, til I warm up.

XTR lasted 2 1/2 years , hope still on after 2 years, felt better after the shimano but probably because the shimano was rough.

I had both on my SC Heckler the Lyrics totally out perform the Push’d Pike and as said they track with a much more solid feel, and not too much more weight, and very adjustable.

I’m also a fan of minion super tacky front and 60a front on the rear, and swap out the rear to an Ardent 60a in the dry.

A few internal mods, and more travel option, I had a 2008 blew the internals in Morzine, TFTune fixed them up for me and told me they had fitted the later model parts so they would be ok in the future, great fork, wish I still had it.

I've been running a set on my Hope Hoops with the tubless conversion no problems yet about 7 months now 50-70km, noticed a good increase in grip from my tyres.
