Limit screws and the b screw moves the mech away or towards the cassette, if its too close wont shift into largest ring so easily.

My 100mm 29er with front wheel removed is about the same length as my 160mm 26″ bike, both have same bars n stem. Back wheel touching the front seat and end of bars in the corner of my boot.

I find the rim width make a difference with Square tyres my Flowex with 2.3 Highroller 2
Gives a really square profile that you have to lean ha4d and dig in. Same tyre on my American Classics looks rounder and rides slightly different , less grip when pushing into the corners still great though also like 2.3 Minion up front.

26″ Maxxis Highroller 2 in 2.3 upfront and Maxxis Ardent in 2.25 usually go for the Exo TR slightly tougher side walls.
Onza Ibex in 2.25 really liking these on my 29er plenty of grip and rolling quite fast.

Best shock I had on my 5 was a VanR with Ti spring TF Tuned held the bike up nicely, Tf Tuned Float RP23 was good but the Van was so much better at everything.

I had a sneeky look at it today and its not too bad, not much mud, mainly roots and pine needles , roots are slippy, wish I was racing :D I was on my 29er was fine, I guess the tracks will cut up pretty bad after a few people have gone through, but was ok in the parts I had a look at today.
Some fun techy bits in the trees , have fun :-)

gelert Nomad (31lb) was the best totaly over biked but it was fast and great fun, serious racers have the usual carbon bling 15lb 29er and are back showered and watching me come in, course was slightly different each time mainly amongst the trees , sneeky trails.
