All my bikes seem to end up around 30lb + or – a pound or so , must weigh my new bike , scales of truth at the LBS, I’m guessing 26lb

Never serviced mine til the other week , when I messed it up by removing the wrong part , all went back together fine just would go all the way down, I needed a special tool , I wipe the shaft with chain lube same as i do fork and shock before each ride, mine had developed play, so I replaced the bushing and seals and its fine now.kit was about £6 ….
if I can buy the tools for setting up the IPF bush I will be able to sort it next time.

there great had mine nearly two years had an inital fault went back fixed and back in 3 days awesome service, never gliched again til I tried to do a service my self which was ok til I pulled a part out that the video said Don’t remove this  LBS sent it back for me it was sorted as a good will again awesome service, and again only took a few days even with all the snow.
I’m going to get another to replace my old KS900 dropper which again has been great, nearly 3 years old, its a lay back and I would prefer an in line again , so saving for a Reverb.
Mine is ridden 3-4 times a week in all weathers, and I use it like I would my gears or brakes , :D

I’ve said ” again” to many times sorry

I use mine like I would the brakes or gears it just becomes a natural way of riding , its only when you go back to a standard post you realise how much you do use it, been riding one for 3 years now so its normal for me. :D

I feel more comfortable with low and slack on steep stuff , but my 29er Salsa Spearfish also felt great on steep techy stuff , very low BB on that bike, but not slack , me no understand , I think alot has to do with the whole bike not just some of the angles.. Brant will be able to explain , far better..

I’m running 175mm cranks and V12 pedals so quite thick by the latest thin stuff available, my 29er was more prone to strikes…
So far I’ve been really impressed by the bike flies on the DH techy stuff but light enough to climb easily , when you pump it , the bike shoooots forwards and leaves the ground with ease , and has so much traction on climbs its amazing, the fitter you are the more you will get out of the TRc :D cant wait til summer..

out on the trails today :D

I used some coarse emery cloth in the vice gave it just enough grip not to spin, didn’t have to go mad on the pressure.

The Nomad has a 1.5” headtube. We recommend a proper 1.5” steerer fork or one of the newer tapered forks for a stiffer front end. There are also plenty of reducing headsets on the market which allow use of the larger bearings of the 1.5” system along with your 1 1/8 fork. If you want to continue using your current 1 1/8″ headset, give us a call and we can sell you some headtube reducers.

From the SC website , if this helps

They are local to me and I’ve used them plenty of times , cheap for most things, service has been great, placed orders with them, and they have called me when items came in, great service, and friendly helpful, staff.
