I have two, but one is refusing to charge now – I will need to work out how to open it up and swap the battery (if it’s worth doing) Lots of photos on there I’d like to get off.

I didn’t think they were too bad a tablet?

It’s funny, the G-Shock CasiOak is still on my wrist, and I’m not feeling any desire to swap it for any of my mechanicals.

Fallen out of love with mine, back to my Seiko5 as it has a clearer face.

If you think the website is bad, try using the app!

Just want to filter based on tyre size / length etc. useless!

We were there last month, the Verderers blue looked well maintained, good fun with the kids. The full red was very rooty, seemed to be 90% climbing for some reason. Stronger riders or e-bikers might find it a blast.

We loved the pedalabikeaway cafe + bike shop, some lovely people working there.

I used a couple of these mounted on battens between the beams – really good light for working

    Crowdfunding exercises?

How about you crowdfund poaching Mint Sauce from MBUK, then print the Mint page in quality paper, ready for framing…

How much cement do you have in your loft? I was left with loads by my roofers.

I like Alpinists, esp the green faced ones, but I don’t like the rotating chapter ring – seems pointless.

Didn’t know they did them without that feature.

    Step 1, check your contract.

There’s no conflict with my main job, the 2 fields are entirely unrelated.

Very often there will be clauses that prevent you from owning over a %age of another company, or doing work for _any_ other party.

Anyone ever gone down the route of getting a Shuttle and heavily tinting the rear windows?

My Kombi has rear windows – I’ve made panels to protect the glass on the inside.

    57 plate T5 here. 187K miles.

It’s got the VAG 1.9 engine, so no DPF, less to go wrong etc.

Previous owner had a replacement gearbox.

In my ownership, I’ve had to replace the steering rack, pump, tensioner, 1 glow plug, plus general wear and tear items.

If you think side windows are leaky, you should try having a sunroof!

I didn’t pay much for it, so I’m generally ok with paying a bit to keep it on the road.

Factory LWB Kombi plus OEM bulkhead, I don’t think it can be beaten for a family biking vehicle.

Looks like a nice update to the Casioak (finally)

Tough solar, bluetooth and some readable colour combos.

I managed to be still browsing the frame store when the gun went off – dead last the entire race :)

My T5 started losing charge – flat after a few days unused. I thought i had a drain from somewhere, but it was soon obvious that the battery was at fault. Eurocar parts gave me a refund – Bosch battery, 2 years old with 5 yer warranty. New Yuasa battery fitted and no drain symptoms at all.

I got my first varifocals from RX too. First pair one lens was not right, the centre was too high up in the frame.
Another round of photos, sent them back and they replaced the lens and they’ve been spot on.

I do have a set of glasses for computer work, but I just wear the varifocals full time now.

I went online after having terrible experiences at high street opticians

I’ve got a wolftooth setup – got a pack down low with tube/tools in it, and bottle up as high as it will go.

    Pricey, but well made.

I was in London on a day-out last year & while walking along the Thames, stumbled across the HQ of the IET, near the Savoy. My thought was…..ah, so that’s where my membership money goes!!

It’s a nice place, good place to hot desk, have a coffee + work overlooking the Thames. Some interesting exhibits too.

But I’ve stopped paying for IET, didn’t make any sense for me.

Do you have a Sky Q box?

Try turning it off and seeing if you still have problems.

My WiFi is flakey in my living room, but turn off the sky box and it’s great.

I really need to talk to Sky Support…

I sold a frame + shipped it to France a few months back. Used DPD (£37)

No bother, but it was a low value frame, and I got the money PPG.

About the same time, I shipped some parts to Belgium using Hermes – nightmare as they got lost for 6 weeks before coming back to me and having to be refunded and re-shipped.

Definitely use PPG and insure it for the full value.

I sent a parcel to Belgium…. it went missing for 6 weeks, filed a missing parcel enquiry.

Then they found it, told me it was back in progress, next day it gets delivered back to me…

Second time sending it and it arrived within 6 days
