I love the camelbak HAWG, but the zippers are to flimsey, they simply break, check the dakine nomad out, go for something more sturdy.

I taken some finishline cross country oil (green cap, the really thick one, -just some good chain oil) and mixed it with grease: something like 3 part oil, 1 part grease, works super well, never used chris king ring drive lube, done this for years.

Oh lost it a couple of times, but last time i found it, starting riding with my nephew(17, me 41) and then i remembered what i was good at! :

Overtaking, choosing the most stupid lines

And when overtaking, always poking an elbow out hitting him

Beating the crap out him climbing ( i ridden for 20 years, so have learned a bit)

Always ride trails i know well so i can smoke him in the turns

But here is the looser part, he flat out smokes me, when we hit the tarmac going home…. 🙁

So lesson learned, find somebody to bully 😉

i dont use it, it makes the shock feel harsh, dead, -so it works bot not the way i like it…, i only used it once for a 2 hour climb, because it sort of “locked” the shock.
find the fox video, give it a overhaul, and while your at it, dissamble all the frame bearings, flush, clean give them some heavy grease, you will be amazed how quick, and subble your rear suspension will be again.

    This should work:

flush out old grease, from ring drive mechanism, and the bearing, rollerbearings in the freehub body, you could use triflow, and some pressure air.

take some good quality oil (i had some finish line green thicky stuff, i would not use some thin, dry type lube, -some normal chain lube, -you know, that gives a black chain..) and mix like 4 part oil with 1 part grease, you will end up with something lige chris kings own ring drive lube.
Smear it on the ringdrive mechanism, and inside the freehub.
But in fact i think this is better as the ring drive lube, is very short lived.
It should run trouble free for like 1.5 month, and then you repeat again, as summer comes, i have run about 2 parts oil, 1 part grease flawless.
    No more peeing!

wd-40 or somthing else, flush, grease in, and they should be smooth sailing, otherwise you stole from your granddad, who dident give a damm, about maintance too! 🙂
-if your grease like every 6 month, just pop the seal, grease in, you will have them for years……..

I like the small, TrustFire TR-801 Cree Q5-WC , mentioned above, as it is light, but is there something similar, that has a battery time of 2 hours, and still quite small, light, for helmet use ??
I would not matter if the battery was seperate, i could just put it in my camelback. -but would like the torch was small, so no heavy helmet head!

get checked at a foottherapeutic, could be your forefoot, just before your toes, has collapsed, it common, then you need some soles, with a pellote, that raises the front of your foot again. if your soles are very hard, that could also cause problemsm, so get something, nice and soft.
