You cannot powder coat carbon, as it needs an electric field passed through it so the paint particles stick to the metal.

Yes, bring the bike, if you go to High Lodge in the forest, go to Bike Art, and they can point you at the local off piest trails, or ask for Ian, if he is not working at the shop he may be able to take you out for a spin around and show you some trails

Did my divorce with out a solicitor, just a shame it cost me far more to desolve the joint company with the Ex, most of that was paid for a solicitor, so my advice if you can do it without them (Solicictor) do it. "CAB" can be a great help aswell.

Penmachno is cool, stand out part for me is the last blast back to the parking area,
Th Guys that built the trail are all keen MTB riders so that explains the good riding it offers, the trail ranger at PyB is the guy that built the trail at Pen, so thank him if you see him , real nice guy

Ha, talking about TT windscreen mounts, heres a good one, if you know Betws y Coed, coming away from there you go over the bridge, my friends were coming over the bridge, passenger window open, TT detached itself from the windscreen and went across the dash and out of the passenger window, stopped by the hotel and went back and picked it up and its still working.

I agree, new drivers should have to ride a bike to learn about keeping away from cyclist, Plus they should also ride in an HGV so they understand the size and issues these drivers have on the road and give them more time and space.

Get a couple of those cheap light weight bike bags, put the bikes in them and clean them when you get home, if you wash the bikes the water will drip off them in the car

What you would always use and you should know how to use if you spend time in the mountains, map and compass and give the MRT a GRID REFERENCE, I know you are going to all say GPS these days, OK fine but they have batteries that go flat and then you are stuffed, so you should always have a compass and map as your back up

Just seams daft that they can remind us when our road TAX is due but cannot be bothered to remind us very busy folks that our MOT is about to Expire dispite the fact that its all on the DVLA computer now,
Just goes to show all the police are interested in is revenue, if you get your house broken into or your bike stolen they dont give a monkeys as its not going to make them any money.

I would think the 1.9 is underpowered, I had a 2.4 5 cylinder (Non turbo)several years ago, as long as you dont want to drive like a prat and treat it as a long term work horse its fantastic, so on those grounds go with the 2.5 and I think at some point power wise they have a 5 cylinder in the range, go with that, its a very smooth motor.

You sure its the BB spacers and not a worn chain, we tried new BB, spacers on a team bike, ended up being a worn chain, just a thought

There are so many out there to choose from, I have been using a Finepix 550 for the last 4 years and have taken some great pictures, and its been 100% reliable, using it in some very hostile conditions, also use Energizer rechargeable 2450mah batterys, I just did a trip to the USA for just over 2 weeks, used the camera every day, took 300 plus pictures and video, never changed the battery in the camera, I took 2 more sets with me but never used them.

Only thing I would say is a must, make sure you have a view finder aswell as the screen, using the screen in bright sun can be a pain to see, but with a view finder this is not a problem.

Friend of mine fell off her bike at 5mph, hit her head on the curb, lost her memory for 2 years, she had to learn who we all were again, along with all the other stuff in life. always put your helmet on when riding,Doc,s can fix most things but your head is another matter, I also cannot get my head around parents that dont use helmets when cycling but make their kids, so if they fall off and bang their head who sorts them out.

I guess if you are buying it as a company car you need to look at the miles you do, there is no point driving a car thats uncomfortable all day just becouse it works better for your private dutys, I used to do 75,000 year for 15 years in Pugs and never had a bad back, I was given a vauxhall CC and lived with it for 6 months before I got the company to give me another Pug.

How worn is the chain? we went through the same thing with team bikes, thought it was the BB, turned out to be chains once they had got to a certian wear point, maybe worth a check,

Yes you can link the second (New) loop from the village of Penmachno, go straight on at the pub instead of going to the normal parking, follow the road until you see a right turn up the hill, at the creast the trail crosses the road.
