dont pay anything on direct debit apart from morgage and some house insurances. everything else gets paid when the bill comes through the door, that way I control them and MY money not the other way round,

But you’ll be paying the highest rate, far better/cheaper to just sign-up for an online DD deal and read your own meter whenever an estimated bill comes in.

And we moved from the SE to Scotland last year, I reckon a constant air temp 5c lower now – consequently its far more likely we’ll have our heating on now as once you get below 15c you want the heating on, even if just the fire.

Not strickley true I used to pay DD years ago and got ripped off, after we went through the system of claiming back what we over paid that could have been in My bank its really not worth the little amount you save being on DD.

We are well happy with it, and the great thing with this over the old site, I can now go in and do updates as and when I need to without contacting the website builder.

All the trails in Thetford forest have been created by Motorbike Enduros, and after a period of settling time they are fantastic. and thats what Dusk til Dawn, Winter Series and Revel Summer Enduro are all run over by the Thetford MTB Racing events crew :D

what I dont understand is when people take fido for a walk, it has a crap, they bag it up, then just leave the bag on the side of the trail or even more anoying hanging from a tree. Now Im a country boy, most wildlife will eat dog crap in time. so why not left hook( not in a bag) it into the undergrowth. (Note, Im also a dog owner) :?

straight road – deep powder snow , just got the speed up and went drift bashing using the nudge bar to its full potential- rangey following behind- every drift i hit would result in powder flying over the windows and roof + slow the car down a few mph. Great fun. started off at 50mph and by the end of the dirt track- about a mile was strugling to do 20mph with the wheels just spinning but JUST keeping forward motion

That all very well and good until the snow jams up around the pulleys/fanbelts etc and you are stuffed. after spending a winter driving in -40 and snow in the USA in 4-4 pickups. you dont go snow ploughing unless you have a plough

I really dont see it as an issue, no worse than a camera, as long as you can get them out and show them if they ask. Ive brought candles back from the USA as hand baggage, never been stopped yet ?

what a bunch of Kn***. keep your distance, keep you speed under control, keep OFF the brakes, use the gears, thats the way I was taught over 30 years ago, driven everything from trucks, tractors to cars, from 5 months driving in snow/ice in the US in the winter were we would get 3 foot snow a night, to the piddly little amount of snow we get here.

Been made redundent 2 times in my working life, first time was hard, 2nd time not so, now work for myself and have done for the last 20 years and would not change a thing, it can be tough looking for new work, but things always work out, and Im my own boss and asnswer to NOBODY, (apart from HMRC) lol.

My advice, dont stress over it, from what you wrote you are not happy there, this maybe what you need to move onto better things
