Sorry I don’t use itunes … I just copy my music on manually over usb. I use the sd card for music and photo storage.

I’ve just gone from a S2 to a S5 and am very impressed by it. Screen is very good and battery life is good (36hrs+). The supplied charger does about 60-70% in an hour (breakfast) then it’s setup for the day. 32gb sd card for £8 – job done!

I don’t think I’d want to try and heat a room just using plinth heaters.

If the files are still there but Word etc. is unable to open them – it does sound like crytpolocker. It’s possible there are shadow copies.

<right click> a file and choose <properties> -> check the <previous versions> tab. If the shadow copies exist* try opening one of the earlier versions.

* cryptolocker has been known to remove the previous versions … in which case you’re stuffed.
