Doesn’t have to be death grips, just looked interesting. Tried some Diety lockjaw and found them a bit thick for me around the thumb end so maybe a thinner grip is what I need.

Roost looks good. I see they come in synthetic or suede too. Would guess the suede ones better for summer.

Anyone running XR4/XR3 combo? Think I might need something with a bit of grip up front to make up for my lack of skill!

Seen a new set of Barzo/Mezcal 2.35s for sale so it will probably be them or the Bonty combo.

OneUp fitted. Looks very nice. Proper test ride over weekend. Totally was not the plan but also picked up set of hardly used carbon wheels too lol

As for the chain line fitment. What’s the best way to check for clearance? It’s all alien to me! I can take photos if that helps to give an idea of clearance.

Brand x has 90mm minimum insertion length so guessing 100mm shim will be fine?

Shim looks like an option! Then I can save loads by getting brand x dropper.

OneUp is coming in quite expensive now compared to the PNW. Although like the idea of being able to reduce play using OneUp oversized pins.

Bumping an old thread! New bike needs 34.9 so the brand x is not an option this time.

So think it’s loam (cheapest) or OneUp.

Can get the ice tech RT86 ones for £28/£22.

Thanks for all the feedback. I have ordered a set of Nukeproof Sam Hill pedals in silver. Wiggle have the silvers ones on offer for anyone after a set.

Will keep bike as it it for now and maybe do a few more silver bits at some point.

Can you get replacement fork logos made up? Thinking maybe silver ones might look better.

Those silver ones look nice. Pretty decent price too.

Been using cheap Nukeproof pedals on previous bikes with no issues so first thing is to get some of them.

As suggested I will go for black. Did look at the grey Pedals as that’s the closest Nukeproof do to the silver but not sure.

Black ones are super cheap at the mo – 18.99.

Shimano one arrived today. Throw seems quite short but hopefully it will work ok! Bike arrives Friday so will see when it comes.

How does the Shimano compare to Wolftooth? Anyone used both?

Will get the SLX one. Was going to go Wolftooth but the adjustment on the Shimano looks better and matches everything else on the bars!

I have just swapped from Barzo/Mezcal combo to Wolfpack trail/cross. Really pleased with them so far.

Might be able to fit in a 170. Interesting that some seem to have air valves and some not.

That royal racing one looks nice. Madison one too. But my last Madison one always had an issue with the zip getting caught in the lining and was always getting stuck in it lol

What’s the benefit of the Kevlar over the organic ones?

How do Uberbike compare? They have so many options I am not sure which ones are best. Sintered, Race Matrix etc.
