    So according to Sram website…

Descendant Eagle that I have is compatible with

    BB30/PF30-68/73mm, GXP/PF GXP 68/73mm

And the GPX ones are compatible with

    BB30/PF30-68/73mm, GXP 100mm/PF GXP 121mm, GXP/PF GXP 68/73mm

But according to Trek my BB is PF92 BB89/91.5 which does not match either of the above including what I already have 9 on the bike. So confused!!

    My current cranks are:

SRAM Descendant 6k Eagle, 32T Direct Mount X-Sync

Would these fit my BB? Or do they require a different BB?

    https://www.evanscycles.com/sram-eagle-gx-gxp-boost-chainset-with-32t-chainring-EV311542

    I’m so not clued up!!

When I look on the SRAM website they are compatible with some of the same BB’s.

Been having a look to see if I can get the same cranks – they are Truativ Eagle ones, but so far can only find the DUB ones!

I have been looking at the SRAM website but cant see that any of the other cranks will work with my current BB – which is the PF92 (BB89/91.5 with 24mm spindle)

My Trek came with teh Fox Rhythm 34 Float and I really do like them a lot.

For me they ride really well, but I have not tried the Pike, but as I find the Fox very capable and does all I need it to do I have not had any reason to try anything else!

When I picked up my new Trek Fuel I went out on the Superfly whilst they set it all up etc.

Was actually better than I imagined and if I could afford a decent one I would have one. For the types of riding I do it would be perfect and can only see them getting better and better.

My Trek Fuel 29er is a lot of fun – its my first 29er and its a bike I always want to be riding. Handles great, climbs great and I can push it quite hard in the twisty stuff with confidence than my previous bikes.

Do you mean WTB Pure V? I have always found them to be super comfortable. I struggled to find a new one when my old Pure died. But have now managed to get 2 in error!

I’m either keeping on for a future spare or might send it back (it was shipped over from Germany) if you are interested.

Will have a look at mine and let you know – mine is the bright orange one and has purple pads – they seem slightly more padded than the black ones. Not sure why! Still not had any issue with mine.

So tried the Funkier ones and they are so damn small!!

In the end I purchased some Singletrack III ones with the click fast Liner for £34 each which wasnt bad looking at the cost of the clik fast liners on their own!

So trying out the superstar nano x and I’m sort of thinking they are a tad wide for my size 8 feet. Where as on the Nukeproof pedals my foot was contacting pins either side, on the Nano, I am not placing my foot fully on all the pins.

I was originally put off by the reports of the Montaro Pads, but mine are still going strong with no signs of anything falling apart so maybe I got a lucky one!

Edit.. and I sweat a lot lol

Funkier ones are nice and cheap! Do they have adjustable waist on them?

So ordered the Singletrack shorts in L and XL and some Troy Lee ones.

Troy Lee ones were quite thin and the adjustable waist is so minimal it was hardly worth it being there! Ok if shorts are perfect fit I guess.

Ordered Singletrack shorts in L and XL. According to the size chart the L goes up to a 37” waist and at 36” I thought the L would be ok. Think again!! What kind of model these were based on I don’t know!

the XL were a good fit, not sure about the pockets as they seem to far back but we shall see.

I paid £33 but have just found them elsewhere for £33 including the clickfast liner and only have them in XL and XXL so ordered a couple of pairs hoping they have stock!

I tried about 8 different ones and ended up with the Giro Montaro.

Super comfortable, and fits my head nicely!

Just checked my Endura padded boxers and they are a large and fit ok.

I presume that the Endura shorts in large will fit or am I assuming too much from Endura?!

I don’t have much to compare to quality wise as been in my Decathlon ones! Im guessing there are better out there than the Singletrack III’s (even though £35 is tempting!!)

    Troy Lee Skylines any good?

Ah Endura sizing is a bit like that is it! Size guide says I should be in a large, but who knows!!

Found some Singletrack III shorts with the liner for £35.

Would people say these run small? I’m currently in 36″ waist jeans and my last Decathlon Baggies were an XL but are a bit too big.

They do not have the singletracks in stock even though they are showing as stock so will have a look at Silverfish!

Roams look short but maybe its just the online pics. I’m trying the Singletracks in L & XL and will shop around for suitable liner/bib.

I have been using Ergon grips and like them a lot so thought I would try their saddles. The SMC4 which is meant to be the comfort saddle killed my sit bones!

Will prob give Singletrack a try and order both sizes!

V12s also look decent, cheap enough but think Nano will will be the choice!

Mate is after some Nukeproof ones but black are out of stock everywhere!

Stealth black nano ones out of stock, but normal black ones still there!

What’s going on with Nukeproof pedals?! Hardly any stock of most colours. Is this to do with the CRC/Wiggle merger as CRC took over Nukeproof?

This is the fork that came on my trek. I have not ridden a lot of other bikes to compare but it’s by far the best fork I have ever owned.

Im a weighty lad and it supports my heavy load very well. The grip system is good and I use it regularly on smooth climbs. I have the stealth version and it looks sweet.

I’m a large ish bloke at the moment. 36” waist but getting thinner. Need some new shorts and bought some decathlon ones today but fit bit great.

Seem teh single tracks for ok price, and just wondering if anyone around my waist has some and what size?

How big does the Nano X EVO platform feel? Only have size 8’s!

Anyone seen the gunmetal colour in the flesh? Was going to go Blue but thinking of not going for a colour look!

What’s the difference between the Nukeproof Electon and Horizon? I can see the plastic pins are in different places and the Horizon looks to be a tad thicker, but other than that?

I guess the most important question is which colour pedals?! Lol

Currently have some blue ones on the silver trek but as I have put my carbon Renthals on I know have a bit of gold to contend with!!!

Silver bike with  silver pedals or stick with the blue?

Not really colour coded anything bar the mud guard having blue on it and there is the blue top caps on both sides of the fork!

I might try a set of the Nano’s too. I was going for some V12’s as I can get them locally but now I have some electrons there is no rush!

Are the Silver Nan’s still painted? Silver does sound boring but I think they will go best with the Trek!

So went for another ride on the SMC4 and i really started to feel it on my sit bones. I think it might be too soft if that’s possible!

Put my beat up pure on and was so much better. Maybe I just need to lose weight to avoid the chaffing! Shame no one in the UK seems to stock the pure anymore !!

They are changing my Nukeproof ones over so fingers crossed these work out better!

I have been on a WTB pure that was comfy, but the nose just does not thin out enough so was getting chaffing. Went 12 miles on the SMC4 comp Gel and did get numb but no chaffing. Trying it again, then borrowed an SMA3 to try.

WTB saddles seem to be hard to get hold of these days – only place I can find them for sale are the German sites.
