They do look similar-. I was using a muckynutz face fender last year and it did an ok job, but not great!

Very true – cant find XL POC ones online so will try out some of the others!

Yeah thats my worry with the zips, does seem like a decent idea, but only if they stay put. IXS reviews seem postive enough on CRC though.

Off to measure my legs lol

Although not sure about the zips on the IXS. Good idea in theory but I imagine they can start to unzip on there own when used a lot. Maybe!

need to find stock of the POC ones. Out of stock at the usual places which makes me think they are a pretty good choice if everyone has snapped them up!

i see that the IXS have a bottom strap and the POC a top strap.

Going to try the IXS ones – maybe with and without the zip. Set of POC ones and maybe a few other of the suggestions above!

What makes the RRP the better choice?

Just a 10mile ride over the South Downs this weekend. Feel quite lucky to have this on my door step with no road work.

Was a little on the wet and muddy side, even the horse was questioning the state of me!

No HRM and both through phone. I guess as calories estimated I will just go with better app. Once I decide which one that is!

Movelo size guide has me currently as XL. Hmmmmmm

Nice discount on the Morvelo ones! Are they true to size? Im wearing 36″ waisted jeans but have dropped a stone so far and probably nearer 34/35 now so just need to get right size!!

Maybe order both sizes to see!

I get hot and using the Giro Montaro. Its in the sale but probably still a bit over budget.

Tried a scoop radius and flat and neither seemed to work for me. The Henge looks good. Will see if I can find a dealer. If not another Pure will have to do.

Pretty much as tight as you can go on the cranks with a standard-sized socket driver i.e. approx. 30cm in length. The good thing on the GXP BB is that you can not damage the BB bearings through over-tightening.

    Sounds like a plan!!!

One up arrived. Didn’t need the shim as was pretty much a perfect fit!

hardly any side play compared to the Bontrager. Very solid up and down clunks. Just got to be more sensitive with how tight the seat post clamp is.

Remote is nice, sram match maker position is much better than the wolf tooth. Bravo all round!

I believe the Evoc packs are made by Hydrapack too.

Another vote for One-Up. Best I have used and fitting is so simple and easy!

I think old Osprey ones had the solid backs – new ones do not.

Will have a look at their bags too!

Together with slighty less sag and slightly shorter cranks (170mm) I have not been getting any rock strikes.

If you dont want to stick with reverb and as recommended to me earlier, the oneup dropper is what I have just ordered in 150mm.

Riders Guild have stock but it’s £200 there with remote. Depends how soon I want one I guess!!!

Cheers for that! £185 with the Sram remote from UBYK seems decent price?

So if the 150mm is too short I can shim it down as far as 100mm?

Remote looks pretty nice – cheaper than a Wolf Tooth too.

Pre-order at UBYK though, will order one at that price and keep the Bontrager wobbling away until it arrives!

I would keep regulations on Smoking in public places as they are right now.

However, I have nothing against the lifting of certain rules that do seem bit silly to me. Limiting a vape tank to 2ml has no effect what so ever – it just causes people to fill up more often!

Been a while, but just to update.

Much prefer that Fat grips now. Been running them for a while and switched back to standard ones and didn’t like. They are going up for sale!

Glad you got it sorted! Mine has been noise free (apart from the odd cable rattle) since it was taken aprt and re-set.

Chunky monkey looks good! Might get the duel compound for the front and single for the back and just keep my current rear as a spare!

    Thanks for the link!

    Although from wolf tooth website…

    • ReMote MM SRAM/Avid MatchMaker X  – Includes the MatchMakerX hardware, which is a T-Nut and bolt that allows the ReMote MM to attach to the MatchMakeX clamp. You will need the MatchMakerX handlebar clamp, which we do not sell but can easily be purchased.

Ahhhh you need that extra bit of clamp that attaches to the match maker

<span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>The PF92 bb’s use a 24mm axle spindle, instead of PF/BB30 which has a 30mm spindle. THE GXP cranks you linked to will work. You can get PF92 BB’s to work with shimano or gxp cranks.</span>

Excellent – so the GXP ones I listed will just be a simple straight swap for the Descendant ones and no need to change anything else?
