I spoke to hope and they have suggested the following

    BBPF4130SS and DUB conversion BB019-K2

Comes in at about £65 so I’ll be contacting my local hope dealer this weekend.

Most of the sram bb’s are on back order until Autumn.

Don’t get me started on the SRAM DUB Bottom bracket, have you tried buying one at the moment… mostly out of stock! I may have to stump up for a hope one and some extra part thats also needed £££

Good news about the biking but only participants can camp. I’d have got a refund on my ticket if I’d have known that earlier.

Yeah plenty to go at around scarhouse. The mines above Heathfield are fun and can be tied into a larger ride

Might be my lack of care but I bought a spectral 18 months ago and I’m amazed at the parts I’m having to replace… I use it as a second bike and due to covid its not seen an enduro but I’m having to pump some money into it ready for boltby bash.

My cousin used to work for them, he’d set off in a van with a sack full of cash to buy the bikes customers had arranged to sell. Once there he would further knock the price down as much as possible.

This was a few years ago now

I had no tickets showing on my gigantic account, dropped them an email and they resent them.

Not a frame but I always wanted a set of those spin 3 spoke mtb wheels.

Oh wow, think those pictures have inspired me to pull my finger out this summer and get my garage organised.

Boltby bash, ard rock intro, ard moors…. only done 500km so far this year so just finishing an event might be a challenge

The two I bought were for me and the missus. They will certainly see plenty of use. Been after a pair for a while.

I rode with a mate 3 weeks ago, heading down a trail and a lady was walking up with 2 dogs both off the lead, so we slowed down and moved over. One dog came towards us and was quite aggressive/barking but passed by, as we started moving off it ran back and starting barking at my mate, the owner called it back but the dog wasn’t interested and the dog took a chunk out of my mates leg. Even whilst the dog was hanging off the leg of my mate the owner just stood there calling it. The dog got a kick and then my mate got the phone number off the tag and reported her and the dog to the police however she told a very different story to the police who are not taking action. My only hope is that the dog doesn’t do the same when a child on a bike passes. We must have passed about another dozen dogs/owners, all had control over their dogs were very polite.

Looks a great mini. I do follow prices of them in the hopes I’ll see a reasonably priced one to buy. Sold my 81 mini in 2009, Looking at current prices I would have been better off leaving it in the garage to rust and selling it 12 years later…

Used bike prices are high at the moment. Not sure there’s much profit to be made until prices settle.

Yep definitely gained some…. usually this time of year I’d be at the gym twice a week and playing 5 a side twice a week, the extra walking and biking just doesn’t have the same impact.

I bought my zero TR on the scheme but it was quite a few years ago now. There’s was a £1k li.it so they sent me a link to pay the remainder. As mentioned the guys at bird really are on the ball and will have your questions answered in no time.

GT Zaskar… finally upgraded from my GT pantera and built a zaskar, it was late 90s/early 2000s so the frame and fork (Z2 atoms) had both disc and v brake mounts. I got about 10 years service from it until it snapped across the left hand seat and chainstay from fatigue. When the disc mount had been added no additional reinforcement had been added. Sad day!
A friend rode an Identiti Dr Jekyll but I always fancied a chameleon but could never stretch to it.

I recently had this issue, no option to increase pressure on mine so totally stripped it, cleaned it, regreased it and seems to have solved it. It was amazingly easy, in the spring I’ll service it – kit is £10 and includes new seals/bushes and keys.

These are pretty accommodating and have elasticated ankles.
No stock at the moment but they seem to get them in on a regular basis.

The good thing about Norland is that there’s some good descents back to the canal, even the trails on the Moor are quite enjoyable and seem to drain quite well. Judy woods is interesting but again this time of year its sloppy.

Your only hope at thiim of year s to hit it on a nie frosty day when the ground is firm. Otherwise I think I’d save for the dryer weather. Great fu to be had in there and new trails have been created over LD. You can easily extend routes and head to norland or the woods near William Henry smith school on the otherside of the valley.

Followed the thread, bought a hydroshot! Used it for the first time yesterday after a very muddy ride. Was impressed with the results and it was much quicker and better results than faffing with the hose pipe + the hose freezes up on cold days making it unusable.

    Thumbs up from me!

My brother once had a dream he was playing cricket, jumped to catch the ball and managed to throw himself out of bed.
His girlfriend wondered what the heck he was doing.

Got shut of my cannondale and will never buy another. Great machines when they are working but a pita when they aren’t. Things are often made trickier with cannondale parts such as straight 1.5 steelers and dyad shocks if that’s still even a thing.
I really hope you get sorted but from my experiences I’m not very positive.
